Jude was making fun of me for pacing outside the car but I ignored him, brushing my hands against my pants as I walked back and forth. The bell rang a minute ago and I ran out here. I tried to tell myself she’d have to walk right past me to get to her car, but I still kept lifting my head to look for her just in case. ‘What are you planning on doing, picking her up and dragging her into the car?’ Jude asked me with a chuckle.
