Scarlet BindingsArchmage Uthad studied the maps in front of
him, taking a prolonged time with each one. He wanted to make sure
that the information on each piece of paper he held was accurate
before paying for the information. Ruden stood near the door with
his confidential informant.
The informer from Castle Vallion was
ordinary looking by any standard. He didn’t look like a spy, and
that’s probably why he was so effective at the task.
“Everything appears to be correct,” Uthad
raised his head. He pulled open the top drawer of his desk and
removed a large and heavy leather pouch. “Your p*****t as

The nimble-framed man quickly grabbed the
