Knights of the RoseThe guard at the gate was thorough with his
searches and his questions. Neither I nor my companions had
anything to hide, but it still made me feel like a criminal.
Penn explained to one of the knights at the
gate that we carried the correspondence that I had found in the
Darkwood and that we were merely completing someone else’s
task.
