“So do we pull all the way up?” Sandy asked. “Should we call the detective and ask him where to park?”
Dawn shook her head. “You won’t get any coverage out here. That’s both the blessing and the curse of this place. We used to come out here to relax, get away from the rat race, but the last few years Jackson’s been so tied to his phone that he hasn’t wanted to unplug for even one night.”
Sandy followed a curve in the road and had to stop behind a police car that was blocking the way. She rolled down the window to talk to the officer standing outside.
“I’m Woong’s mother. Is my son ok? Have you found him yet?”
Kennedy rolled down her window as well, refusing to miss the officer’s words.
The policeman pushed a button and spoke into his radio. “I’ve got the mother here. Shoul
