CHAPTER 27 Fifteen minutes later, they were seated in the small conference room around Drisklay and his list of ten men they could remember being at the morning’s prayer meeting. “Now,” Drisklay announced, “we figure out who’d want to take the kid.” Willow ran her fingers through her hair. “You know, I’ve been thinking, and I’ve got an idea that makes pretty good sense.” Drisklay leaned forward. Kennedy couldn’t tell from his expression if he was eager for any sort of lead on this case or if he was surprised that a college girl with neon-green hair could have anything even partially resembling a good idea. “All right.” Willow paused dramatically. “So this morning Woong told his mom he remembered seeing someone go into his dad’s office.
