About thirty minutes earlier Valens awoke from sleep as he stood up on his feet then wiped his face with his palm. It was dawn and about the time he and Kyle were supposed to leave in search of the medicine.
After a while he heard a knock on the door as he turned and spotted Nicol walking in quickly.
“Come with me Valens,” Nicol said immediately after he spotted him.
“What Is the problem?” he asked when Nicol turned to leave as he stopped then turned back at him.
“Kyle is missing, he is nowhere to be found,”
“What?” he furrowed his eyebrow with a constrained gaze at him. “Where is Lex?”
“Come on, Lex Is searching around for him,” Nicol replied then left in a hurry.
