June could not believe that this fine man was her new sister in law's brother and twin brother at that. June had tried so hard to get to the wedding so that she could see the whole ceremony. June was so upset that she did not make it before the reception and then those two at the door would not let her enter just because she was running up the stairs to get there in time.

June was dancing with Meagan and Savanna, Anna’s best friends but really June was watching the bar so that she could keep an eye on Alex. After dancing with the two girls for a little bit June made her way to the table that her father and little sister were sitting at.

“Hello dad, I am so sorry that I was late but I really did try my best to get here sooner.” June put her arms around her father's neck so that she could give him a hug, it had been several months since the last time she saw him and she had really missed him.

“Aww June baby I am just glad that you made it. If you had not come Blade would have been upset but understanding.” Alpha Mike hugged his eldest daughter back just as hard as she hugged him.

He has missed her so much plus she looked just like his late mate and he really missed his Luna so much since she passed away. June sat down beside her father and looked at her little sister.

“What are you up to shorty?” June knew how much her sister hated that nickname but she would always be shorty to June.

“Not funny June.” With those words June’s sister turned her back on her and their father to watch over the dance floor.

“So June, how are things at the castle? Is your training going like you thought it would?” Alpha Mike did not like the fact that his daughter wanted to go and train at the castle but when she made her mind up to do something then she did not with no stopping her.

“Dad, it has been great and I have learned so much. Right now we are working on a really interesting case and we are hoping to get everything resolved soon and that is why I wanted to make the wedding. I will have to leave for about six months to help with this investigation and will not be able to communicate while I am away.”

Alpha Mike did not like the sounds of this but he also knew that his daughter was doing really great things but he really just wanted her to be safe.

“I can not wait for you to meet your mate then maybe you will be able to be home more and I will not have to worry about your safety as much.” Alpha Mike gave June a sad smile while he hugged her as close as he could because he knew he would need it in order to get through the next six months of her being gone.

“Dad, you are so funny. Now lets enjoy Blade’s wedding and the time that we have together while we can.`` June stood up and pulled Alpha Mike out onto the dance floor so that they could dance together. Over at the bar Alex watched as Jun danced with her father and thought over all that he had just heard from Max and Gary about her. Hopefully soon he would be able to get to know her by spending time with her and also just talking to her.

“Alpha Alex, your father and mother would like for you to come up to the head table where they are about to start the toast.” Alex made his way over to the head table but he also kept an eye on June on the dance floor as he moved around the room to the table.

The speeches took a long time but everyone did not seem to mind since the drinks were flowing. Alex, we need to get closer to mate. I really want to talk to her. Please. Dean (Alex’s wolf) whined in Alex’s head as they walked over to the bar for another drink.

As Alex stepped up to the bar June walked right up next to him. Dean started to go crazy in his head with excitement that their mate was right beside them.

“Hello! June right!” Alex reached his hand out to shake June’s hand before she knew it.

“Uh yes it is. You are Alex right.” June looked up from under lashes into Alex’s face as she said his name.

“Yeah that is right. It is great to meet you. Also my wolf would like to say hello to you also. His name is Dean and he is really excited right now.”

“You can tell Dean this it is great to meet him and that Flower also says hello. She is very excited also. But I have to ask that you and Dean to please be patient because Flower and I both have a mission that we are doing right now. “ With those last words June walked away from the bar and out the door
