I was curled up on his chest listening to his heart beat. It was slow and steady he was at total peace, at least for the moment. I liked the sound, it relaxed me and made me wish we could stay just like this forever. I could start again and maybe form a real connection if everything could stay just like this forever. I stared out over the horizon at the sea of trees and at colors of the sky and sighed.
