FIRST MURDER

On christmas night ,

Sophia and Edward was walking down the bustling road full of people and lights . '' Let's take the taxi or it will take time '' Edward suggested . '' No i want to walk together with you '' Sophia said walking along together with him hand in hand .

'' DO YOU REALLY LOVE WALKING WITH ME THAT MUCH ? '' Edward asked looking at her face . '' Yes i do i love spending time with you '' Sophia replied smiling at him . '' I really am glad that you could come today '' said he sighing .

'' I argued a lot with my mom though still i persuaded my dad and now here i am '' said she . ''What about your brother was he at home with your parents ?'' asked he . '' NO my parents went to a party and my brother is holding a party with his friends at our home '' she replied .

'' I see anyway you are here along with me walking hand in hand on this holy day that's all that matters '' said he kissing on top of her hand . '' I was looking forward to this '' she replied .

'' We have arrived only ten minutes left now it takes twenty minutes from your house by foot '' Edward said . '' I see '' she replied . They reached his friends house after that . It was a fairly old house but big enough .

Edward's friend Harry welcomed them warmly . THere were many people , upto ten to twenty . Sophia and EDward sat down onto the sofa where the party was happening . Harris took the mic and said '' Most of the people whom i had invited seems to have arrived i will start the party then first let's introduce ourselves '' .

All introduced themselves . It was the turn of Sophia and EDward now . '' I am Edward and this pretty lady beside me is Sophia '' he introduced '' don't fall for anyone now '' . They all laughed hearing the joke .

'' Don't stay quiet speak up or else you can't make any friends '' said Edward . At that moment some girl came and said to her '' hi , i am Caroline '' . '' This is your chance '' Edward encouraged her .

'' I am Sophia sit down please '' she said . They started talking . It was around midnight now they were all eating and drinking . Sophia never tried any drinks in her life so she only drank juice .

Edward also only drank coffe . After a while when they had done eating Harry said '' now we will play a game all couple will drink in one glass those who finish fast will be the winner and get this movie tickets from me '' .

They all cheered . All started after taking their positions . Harris said '' start '' . They all started at the same time and Sophia and Edward were the last ones some other team won . '' We have our winners here that is Caroline and LOuis and the loser team is Sophia and Edward , as a penalty you have to do the pockey challenge in front of others '' .

They all cheered again . '' But in front of them ?''Sophia asked Edward . '' Harris we won't do it tell something else to do '' said Edward . '' Why ?'' Harris asked . '' Sophia isn't comfortable with this that's why '' he replied .

'' OKay then now we will begin the couple dance '' said Harris , All gathered up and the music started the sweet melody playing in their ears and ther bodies moved along with the rhythm .

Sophia was not comfortable with this at all but still started dancing while placing one heel over Edwards foot and he cried out in pain . '' You know this is the first time i have ever danced but it's so much fun '' said Sophia while dancing ,.

'' Everything is fun if you can do it '' Edward replied . '' I am glad you are enjoying yourself '' he said . '' I really am '' she replied . They danced for a while . After the dance was over it was around 12:45 am .

'' Last thing for the day one act play along with your partners '' said Harris '' it could be a joke or anything else or propose your partner '' . eVERYONE WAS QUITE EXCITED OVER THIS .

'' What will we do i don't know anything '' said Sophia . '' How about i propose you in front of others ?'' he asked . '' Yeah we can do that . let's do it '' said she . One by one everyone did one acts .

'Edward said he's coming from the toilet . He cam back after ten minutes . '' Took you a while ?'' she asked . '' Maybe i ate something bad who's the next one ?'' he asked . '' Us '' she replied .

'' I will propose her '' he said . '' Yo man '' someone cheered among the crowd they all clapped . '' Sophia you are the best one in my life am glad to have met you , i love you would you be my partner for life ?'' asked EDward getting down on his knees .

'' Yes i will '' she replied taking his hand . Edward kissed on top of her hand . After that they had one more drinking competition between the couple's this time Sophia and Edward also took part .

'' I want to win this time '' said Sophia . '' Start '' Harry announced . All started drinking this time their team came fast . ''' Yay our winner is Edward's team '' Harry shouted . '' NOw they are gonna do the pockey challenge '' said Harry .

'' But '' Sophia didn't wanted to . '' Let's try '' EDward and others insisted . '' OKay then '' she agreed . ''Yay they will do it here you fo your pocky '' said Harry handing out the pocky , others cheered .

Edward took the other part of the pockey on the other and Sophia on the other . They started eating slowly bit by bit slowly towards the end both eyes fixed on each other's gaze . They reached the end and and the pokey stick was about to reach it's end and they kissed .

Melting into the kiss other all cheered all of a sudden . They both parted after that . '' Now let's play truth an dare '' Harry said . '' I will start from the first he truth i loved a girl in my college and she rejected me '' Harry said .

Everyone broke out in laughter after that . Other girl said '' i am not virgin and i haven't told that to my boyfriend '' . There was lots of squealing and laughter and they were all enjoying themselves .

After that what happened they all don't remember , among all this cheer and laughter they both fell asleep by 1 am . Sophia also wasn't exception to this she also fell asleep .

By the morning everyone was sleeping Edward got up and woke up everyone . '' Sophia was sleeping soundly on the sofa also , Edward called out '' hey are you okay ? wake up '' . After calling for a while she woke up .

'' What happened ? what am i doing here ?'' she asked in a dizzy voice .'' We all fell asleep after tomorrow's party '' he replied . Everyone who woke up all of their memories were fogged up .

'' It feels as we had drink right ?'' asked she . '' Maybe someone mixed our drinks when we were asleep '' said he . '' Maybe that' s the case here '' said she . '' When did you woke up ?'' asked she . '' I woke up a little while ago '' said he .

'' I can't remember what i did last night at all '' said Sophia . '' Nor do i maybe we did something naughty and fell asleep '' he whispered in her ear . ''' Why you '' she punched him . '' Where is my phone though ?'' she asked looking for her phone .

'' It should be somewhere around here '' he said . After looking for a while she found it lying under the sofa . '' It must have fallen off when we were sleeping '' said she picking it up .

Sophia checked her phone it had thirty missed calls . It was from her mom and dad . '' Hey dad and mom called me a lot i should get back home '' she said in hurry . '' First call them '' he said . '' You are right '' said she .

She called her dad . He picked up . '' Dad what happened ?'' asked she . '' Come back home fast an incident has happened '' her dad said . '' What incident ? ''' she asked . '' Your brother Samuel has been murdered '' said her dad .

'' What ?'' hearing this her phone fell down . '' What happened ?'' Edward asked . '' S-samuel h-he .. '' . '' Samuel what ?'' he asked . '' He has died dad called me '' said she . '' What how ?'' he asked . '' i DON'T KNOW BUT I HAVE TO HURRY TO HOME '' she said gathering her things .

'' Should i go with you ?'' he asked . '' No or else they will ask where i was all night '' she said .. '' Please take care of yourself and tell me later on the call okay ?'' he asked . She headed out of his friends's house .

When she arrived at the house gates she noticed that the cops had come . She rushed into the house . She saw her dad and mom sitting in the living room . Mom was crying and her dad was consoling her .

Cops all around . '' What are they doing here ? did Samuel really have died ? But who killed him ? why ? '' that's the thought that filled her head . She went slowly towards the entrance .

They all looked at her coming in . One of the cops asked '' WHo are you ?'' . '' I am Sophia the only daughter here '' she replied . '' I see come then '' said the cop .
