Unthinkable Love

Chapter 11

Theo

My face is throbbing from Levi’s strong punch to my jaw. Lola ran out of the room looking heartbroken and I couldn’t do anything to stop her. I needed to explain everything to her. I needed her to believe that I would never do anything to hurt her intentionally.

Why the hell was Lucy even here? Was she the one who planned this ridiculous stunt? Was she the reason that Levi knew all of this information in the first place? It wouldn’t surprise me if she planned this all along. It is definitely something she would do just to hurt me.

I rush to the only place I know where I could find Lola. The rain is bucketing down heavily on the roof above and it is hard to concentrate. I know this storm is raging because of Lola’s unstable emotions and I need to calm her down. She has confided in me before about the strength of her magic.

As I near the marble fountain, I suddenly stop to take in the scene before me. Lola is pacing around the fountain, back and forth. Her cheeks are wet with uncontrollable tears and I can see the pain I have caused her written all over her beautiful face. She is soaking wet from the downpour of rain and her dark hair is plastered down her face. I am stunned with how incredibly beautiful she is, even when she looks like this.

She must sense that I am standing nearby as she slowly turns towards me and her eyes widen when she sees me. She crumples to the ground as I feel a strong force of magic expel from her body and it hits me with such a force that I stumble from the impact. A gigantic rumble of thunder threatens overhead and lightning flashes through the sky dangerously. Is she trying to threaten me or warn me to stay away?

I immediately run over to her and pick her up from the ground so she is standing in front of me. Her eyes are closed and I pray that when she opens them that I don’t see hatred within them. Unfortunately, I am dead wrong.

“GET AWAY FROM ME!” She snarls at me angrily.

“Please don’t push me away Lola. I’m so sorry I didn’t tell you the truth!” I plead with her desperately.

“How could you do this to me?” She cries while banging her fists on my chest. She is angry with hysteria and I hate seeing her this way.

“I did it to protect you! Everything I do is for you and only you. I wanted you to love me for who I am, not hate me for what my family has done.”

“Let go of me! I don’t want to be here. How can I ever trust you again Theo? I feel so betrayed! You’ve broken my heart!” She cries.

I am stunned by her words. She’s sobbing in my arms but she keeps trying to break free. The rain has made our bodies slippery and I can feel her slowly loosening in my grip as she struggles against my hands.

She finally breaks free from my grasp and turns to run away from me.

“LOLA PLEASE! Don’t leave me too!” I beg, heartbroken. My voice cracks on the last word and she whips back around to study me. I can’t let her walk out of my life like this. I don’t ever want to lose someone like her. She is the brightest light in my dark life. She makes me want to wake up every day just so I can be with her. She makes me want to be better.

“What did she do to you?” She whispers as she strides back over to me and grabs my hand tightly.

She has let her guard down and I can’t let this moment go to waste. I pull her back into my embrace and wrap my arms around her luscious curves. We are so close now that our foreheads are touching. She closes her eyes and I take in all of her beauty. Her make up is starting to smear down her cheeks but I couldn’t care less.

“I love you so much Lola.” I finally admit to her. I needed her to know, right now in this moment before I never get the chance to say it again. Her eyes snap open and I feel like she really sees me for me. She is gazing into my soul as I wait for her to say something in return.

Just when I think she is going to freak out again, she threads her fingers through my hair and pulls me into a deep and passionate kiss. I am stunned for a moment but I kiss her back with haste. She opens her mouth to meet my tongue with hers. That electricity that always crackles between us is stronger than ever. Her incredible body is pressed up against mine and I can feel all of her. I think back to the day she was standing in front of me on the beach in her swimsuit. I will never forget that image of her.

I realise that she needs me as much as I need her with the ferocity of this kiss. She tastes more incredible than I expected. I gently bite her incredibly soft bottom lip and she lets out a small moan immediately filling my body with desire. I am desperate to feel her body under her dress. I run my hands over her slippery bare back and she shivers under my touch. I push my hands back up the sides of her body and graze the side of her breasts. I run my nails passionately down her bare back again. Desperate to feel every inch of her, I cup my palms around her amazingly toned ass cheeks and feel that she is wearing a g-string.

She gasps against my lips and I take the opportunity to slip my tongue back into her mouth. Her tongue wrestles with mine for control as I feel the bulge in my pants start to stiffen between her thighs. She cups my cheeks with her delicate hands as she grinds her lower body over my hard shaft.

She gasps again as she feels all of me and pulls away momentarily. I see the lust in her eyes and I can imagine she sees it in mine too. She is panting breathlessly.

“I promise to love you until my heart stops beating.” I promise to her. I truly mean it. There is no one else I could ever feel this way about.

Another force of magic explodes from her body and I struggle to hold on to her. Her body goes limp in my arms as the thunder and lightning crash down all around us.
