Lola
Never in a million years did I think that I was going to wake up this morning and lose my virginity. I had cooped myself up in my bedroom for a week and I needed to get out of there before I went insane. I decided to go for a run to feel the physical pain of not being able to breathe. I needed to feel anything other than sadness and betrayal.
I don't know what drew me to the beach that morning. My mind was in its own world before I realised that Theo was standing right in front of me. I didn't know what to do so I panicked and ran away. I wasn't ready to see him. I wasn't ready to speak to him. I didn't want to let him into my heart again!
After hearing him tell me how much he loves me and cares about me, I couldn't help myself. I realised I needed him, all of him. I wanted to feel every inch of his magnificent body and I knew he wanted the same thing from me.
So here I am, laying naked in the sand with Theo's arms wrapped around me. We are both struggling to catch our breath after having s*x for the first time together. There is nowhere else in the world I would rather be right now.
"Are you feeling alright?" He breaths in my ear.
"Oh, I'm more than alright." I turn to face him smiling and snuggle into his chest, wrapping my body around him.
"That was incredible Lola. Where did you learn how to do that?" He plants a kiss on top of my head.
"Umm ... that was my first time." I say shyly as my cheeks begin to burn with embarrassment. He pulls my chin up to face him so I'm looking straight into his eyes.
"Do you know how beautiful you look right now?" He replies with lust in his eyes.
"You are only saying that because I'm naked!" I squeal, flicking sand at him.
"Stooooopppp!" He whines. "I'm going to get sand up my nose!"
"Make me!" I dare him, flicking sand at him again.
"That's it! You asked for it!" He climbs on top of me and starts to tickle me. I am extremely ticklish and start rolling around the sand, laughing so hard. I try to push him away but he doesn't relent. He laughs at my hysterical laughter until he presses his hard muscly body on top of mine and looks me straight in the eyes. "I told you to stop it." He teases.
"I'm sorry." I reply, poking my tongue out at him. His reflexes are so fast, he bites my tongue lightly and pulls me into a deep kiss. I don't think I'll ever get tired of kissing this man. To my dismay, he pulls away way too quickly.
"Lola I feel like I should explain why I did what I did. As much as I want to keep kissing you right now, I need to be honest with you." I nod my head, waiting.
“Many years ago, the Fuoco clan and the Acqua clan were on the brink of war. There was nothing they could do to stop the arguing and fighting over land. There was all these bodies turning up on the outskirts of their lands. The Fuoco mages were evil people with incredibly furious fire raging through their bodies. It overcomes them, just like your water magic does to you sometimes. They were out of control! Then one day, the Fuoco clan invaded the Acqua lands. They were brutal and ruthless. They murdered all the men and women. The children were hidden somewhere safe and the Fuoco clan could never find them. The Acqua leaders must have known they were coming. That is how the Acqua clan survived all these years and are still here today. It’s why your family is still here. It’s why your right here.” Theo explains.
“How do you know all of this?” I ask.
“I am the Magical History professor. It is my job to research the history of our magic and our clans.” He states simply.
“I am so sorry. This wasn't even your fault and I treated you so poorly. I was just so upset, I needed time to think about everything.” The pain is evident in my voice.
He runs his fingertips along my jaw and guides my face up towards his. He searches my face with his dazzling eyes as if he is trying to commit the image to his memory. We stare into each other’s souls and I feel like I have found the place where I truly belong. In this moment, I know he is my soul mate and we were destined to be together. Even if our families were on opposite sides of the war.
He suddenly flips me over so that I'm straddling his lap as he sits upright. He runs his fingers through my long dark hair and pulls me towards him, so close that the tips of our noses are touching.
“I love you Lola.” He breathes in his husky voice.
“I love you too Theo.” I say with a devilish grin on my face. He licks my bottom lip and I am in heaven. Our mouths collide again and we get lost in each other’s embrace.

After rolling around naked with Lola for the best few hours of my life, I was starving.
"As much as I'd love to stay here with you forever and feel every inch of your incredible body all over me again, I think we should go get something to eat." I declare.
"Are you asking me out on a date?" She teases with a grin on her face.
"Only if you want it to be ..." I smile back at her.
"I'm covered in sand! I'm going to have sand falling out of me for a week!" She whines. I chuckle at her crudeness.
"Why don't we go for a swim first?" I suggest. Her eyes widen in fear.
"But I don't have a swimsuit ..." She whispers.
"Who said anything about a swimsuit?" I don't wait for her reply. I pick her up bridal style and start running towards the water. She squeals in delight and buries her face in the crook of my neck. I wade into the water and throw her into the waves. I dive in after her to rinse off. The water is unusually warm for this time of the afternoon.
As we both come up to the surface, Lola immediately wraps her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist.
"Thank you for today." She says, smiling at me. I loved seeing her happy. I will do anything just to keep her smiling at me forever.
"You don't need to thank me. I'm just glad to see you happy. What do you feel like eating?"
"Hmmm ... we could go to Deja Brew?" She suggests. "They have my favourite pasta ever!"
"We can go wherever you like, but are you sure you want to go somewhere so public?" I question her.
She frowns at me. "Don't you want people to see us together?"
"I just want to make sure that you are ready for that kind of attention. Especially because of everything that has happened lately ..." I reply.
"Well, people are going to have to get used to seeing us together, so why not start now?" She states simply.
"Is that so?" I tease.
"Don't think I'll be sharing you now that I've got you all to myself."
"Oh I wouldn't have it any other way!" I say, pulling her against me tightly and kissing her gently.

As I walked down the street with my hand comfortably in Theo's, I started to notice people staring at us together. I tried to ignore them but the further I walked, the more obvious it was. I knew I shouldn't care about what they think about us being together. After all, I am no longer a student, which means he is no longer my professor. I think Theo could sense that I was starting to feel uncomfortable and to my utter disappointment he let go of my hand.
We reached Deja Brew and he held the door open for me. He led me to the booth in the back corner of the cafe so we wouldn't be the centre of attention. I tell Theo my order and he goes up to the counter to order for both of us. He comes back to slide into the booth beside me instead of across from me. Maybe he wants to be closer to me. He places a hand on my thigh and I can't stop the blush spreading across my cheeks.
"Mr and Mrs Valentino did an amazing job fixing up this place after the fire." Theo says.
"Did anyone ever figure out what happened?" I ask.
"No I don't think so. It was definitely created with fire magic though. That's why your water magic couldn't stop the blaze."
"Hmmm ... I can think of one person who is probably capable of doing something like that." I say, deep in thought.
"Who?" He asks curiously.
"Lucy. She left probably half an hour before Jordan smelt the smoke."
"That crazy b***h! Why would she do something like that?" He growls angrily.
"Probably because of me ... she seems like the jealous type when it comes to you Theo."
After what feels like an eternity of silence between us, Theo says, "Now that I think about it, you are probably right. Ever since I left Russo Village I thought I would finally be free from her, but she's followed me here for some reason. She didn't want anything to do with me anymore, I wonder what has changed?"
"She probably doesn't want to see you happy. Whatever happened between the two of you must have been pretty bad for you to move away from your home."
Before Theo can reply to my statement, a boy a few years younger than me approaches the table with two caramel milkshakes in his hands. I notice that he has the same emerald green eyes as Theo.
"Sorry to interupt. Here's your milkshake." He says, staring at me.
"Dante, it's not polite to stare." Theo says.
"Sorry bro, you didn't tell me she was this pretty." He says quietly. I look between them in shock when I realise this boy standing in front of us is Theo's brother. The resemblance is uncanny.
"Dante, this is Lola. Lola, this is my brother Dante." Theo announces.
"It's very nice to meet you Dante." I say, shaking his hand.
"It's so nice to meet you too! Theo doesn't stop talking about you. You should come over one day for dinner, mother is dying to meet you!" Dante babbles.
"Stop. Talking." Theo growls, clearly annoyed with his brother.
"No it's fine!" I say frowning at Theo. "I'd love to come over and meet your mother." I reply to Dante, smiling.
"Awesome! Mother will be so happy when I tell her." He scurries away.
"Ugh, why do brothers have to be so annoying?" Theo whines, leaning back in the booth.
"Leave him alone, he was just being nice." I smack him lightly on the arm.
"Who does he think he is, inviting my girlfriend over for dinner. He's probably going to have a big crush on you now, I'll never hear the end of it!"
"Girlfriend?" I'm stunned by his choice of words, he totally caught me off guard. Theo's eyes widen in fear as he realises what he just said.
"Oh sorry, I shouldn't have assumed anything. Forget I said anything." He lowers his head, looking uncomfortable for a moment.
"No I like the sound of that." I reply happily. Theo smiles back at me and kisses me. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him back passionately.
Dante decides to reappear with our food at that exact moment and clatters our plates on the table when he see's us. We jump back in fright.
"Sorry ..." He mumbles, shuffling away in embarrassment.
We eat our pasta in silence and Theo walks me home, not once letting go of my hand.
"Thank you again for today. I had such an amazing time. I'd invite you in but I'd like to speak to my family about us first." I say to him.
"No problem, I understand. I love you so much." He replies while pulling me into a hug. I stand on my toes to kiss him.
"I love you too." I smile up at him, smack his butt and skip up the path to the front door. I turn to wave at him and I see him standing there with a huge smile on his face.
"Good night beautiful." He says and walks away.
