Batangas- is a province in the Philippines located in the Calabarzon region in Luzon. Its capital is the city of Batangas and is bordered by the provinces of Cavite and Laguna to the north and Quezon to the east. 

Buendia Station- is a station on the Manila Metro Rail Transit System Line 3. Buendia station is one of the two underground stations that can be found on the line, the other being the Ayala station. The station lies near the Buendia Flyover and Gil Puyat Avenue (Buendia) in Makati. It is near Shell Bel-Air in the corner of Gil Puyat Avenue (Buendia), EDSA, and Zodiac Street.

Oplan Tokhang- involves the police visiting the houses of individuals suspected to be involved in the illegal drug trade or as users, to persuade them to stop their activities and submit themselves to authority for potential rehabilitation.

Manananaggal- comes with different names in some parts of the Philippines including Iki for the Batangueños and Lupa-lup for the Waray. The manananggal is commonly described as a half-bodied woman with monster looks, entangled hair and has bat's wings on her back. She seduces men during the day by disguising into a very beautiful lady. She turns into a monster at night, flies to her victim and usually eats the heart. The best way to kill a manananggal is to put salt or ashes on the lower half of her body that she leaves somewhere when she is in a monster form. When this happens, she will no longer be able to return to her human form, and when the sun shines on her she will turn to dust; much like a vampire.

Forbes Park- is a private subdivision, gated community, and barangay in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. Established in 1949, Forbes Park was named after William Cameron Forbes, the fifth American Governor-General of the Philippines during the American Insular Government.

Engkantao- the offspring of mating between humans and engkanto, diwata, anito. 

Engkanto- are mythical environmental spirits that are said to have the ability to appear in human form. They are often associated with the spirits of ancestors in the Philippines. They are also characterized as spirit sorts like sirens, dark beings, elves, and more. Belief in their existence has likely existed for centuries, and continues to this day.

Pintados- warriors with enormous strength and skills that is said to be given by the god war, Apolaki. They were called pintados because of the tattoos adorned their whole body. The more the tattoo, the stronger the warrior and the higher the rank. 

Bolo- is a large cutting tool of Filipino origin similar to the machete.
