Prologue
When the universe was created by Bathala, there are the heaven , earth and hell. In Earth, mountains, planes, oceans, rivers are made. Along with the animals, man and creatures that dwell around in the dark. And Tungkung Langit carry the sky to prevent it from crashing everything Bathala created.
Bathala, the mighty creator who can only look down on his creations from his kingdom in Kaluwálhatian (Heaven). He was a great lord, worshipped by many, but no one could speak to him directly. So he sent down the anitos to provide for his creations, his subjects. Thus, the káluluwa (soul) of a person becomes an anito after death to serve Bathala and intercede on behalf of the living.
Aside from the anitos, there are also beings lower than them. These beings are diverse in forms and are considered as monsters and/or guardians that roam the world along with mankind. These beings usually reside within the confines of nature, but when disturbed, can inflicts severe damages to man and even cause death.
Bathala later on went into a deep slumber, while his children continued to watch over their father's creations. But then the residents of Kasamaan (counterpart of Hell), whom were the evil entities all opposed to Bathala and the rest of his deities, wanted to take over and cause destruction.
The children of Bathala, Apolaki and Mayari brought forth the Bagani. A group of remarkable warriors, children of anitos with the strength and powers coming from the elements around us.
A great war happened between the Bagani and Sitan and his henchmen. There are casualties but they managed to seal away Sitan and his agents in several sacred lands. Peace was once again regained. The elemental powers of the Bagani are sealed as well with a promise to return when the great evil returned. With or without those powers, the warriors kept the peace in Sangkatauhan (Earth). Protecting the humans and keeping other creatures at bay.
Years passed, the Baganis may have rested eternally, but they have passed down the task to keep the peace through different generations of warriors. Humans, guardians, engkanto, diwatas and enkantao (offspring of humans and encanto) are now the army of warriors to continue the legacy. They are now more organized and modern.
And when they thought everything is under control creatures began to cause a stir. Unbeknownst to them, there is something big coming.
As humans become more evil and corrupt, it slowly feeds the ancient evil, giving it strength. As if Bathala still watches over, four enkantao were born with the power of elements. And this is the sign that the Bagani are back to protect and fight.
