Chapter Eighteen
Spencer’s POV
Stroll in the past…
The next day, I found out that Yael Domingo was sent to the Principal’s office. On. His. Second. Day.
“If I were you, Spence, I won’t hang out with that guy.” one of my classmates said when I attended our first subject.
I’m not even talking with Yael, what’s wrong with him?
“Huh?”
“This morning, that transferred student beat up a junior. He’s at the P’s office right now, you know.”
My jaw dropped from that news. Its his second day in our school, how can he get into trouble this early?
And a junior? Yael is much bigger than any of the guy of my class, more so a junior?
I shook my head and fixed my things instead. I’m not a gossip guy, anyway. Its his business.
“I knew it!” my classmate blurted that made my head turn to him again.
“What?”
“You don’t care about the new guy, right?”
I frowned. “Why would I?” They don’t think I’m gay to care about that guy, right?
“Well, that new guy are spreading news that you are his brother, his dear friend!” my classmate said in disgust.
He claims what?! What the hell? I don’t even know him!
“I’m not!” I denied.
“Yeah, I figured.”
The class went quiet with a loud thud as Yael came inside our room. His eyes are deadly as he looked around, maybe because of the lingering irritation from being called to the higher office. Then his gaze stayed at my way.
I think he is looking at me… right?
“Here he comes…” my classmate whispered as he slowly walked away from my chair and I watched him scurried away.
The hell? He got guts to talk behind the new guy’s back but he was this scared?
And why is this Domingo looking at me like that? Like I’m the one he beat up this morning. What the hell?
Yael walked in huge steps towards me and I leaned back to my chair, preparing myself for any sudden violence that may come from him.
He slammed both of his fists on my table, hovering over me with that deadly look on his face.
I frowned. Is he trying to intimidate or scare me?
“Out now, brother. We need to talk.”
My jaw dropped from how he lightly called me ‘brother’ which also means his anger is not directed to me, right? Then why the hell the need to talk?
What could a new student discuss with me about?
Yael didn’t let me talk and just head to the door, walking out of the room.
He really expect that I’ll follow, huh? He didn’t need an answer, like he spouted a command that no one will dare to bend. Like I’ll have no choice but to follow and obey.
I was scoffing on my chair and not moving an inch at all. Why should I talk to him? I have nothing to say and I don’t want to get linked with his ‘already’ bad image. I--
“Brother!” his thundered voice made me jumped out of my thoughts. Yael was peaking by the door--only his head was showing, and then he nodded his head furiously.
My jaw dropped from how childish that looked while my classmate seems to be left by their souls. That scared them? Can’t they see how immature that act is?
I sighed and stood up. Yael’s face slightly lightened before he continued walking away. My feet are slow and hesitant as I followed Yael while low curses are muttered by my mouth.
The heck!
Yael was striding back and forth at the secluded corner by the fire exit. Looking around, there was no one that could see us--or rather could save me if ever this big man suddenly wants to beat me too.
“Why did you call me here for?” I asked in a monotone. I’m trying to balance my emotions right now because I’m baffled and have no idea what the hell is going on.
He beat a junior, the principal asked for him and after their talk, he wants to have a conversation with me. Nothing connects, okay?
“Just!” Yael almost yelled but restraint himself so to not cause any more attention. Attention? No one even followed us, more so dare to eavesdrop.
How can a newbie like him give off this kind of aura to everyone in the campus? I think even the teachers are scared of him.
“W-What?” I frowned. What is he trying to say?
“Brother, you have to work with me!”
My jaw dropped again, and I can’t count how often did my jaw lose its muscles for a bit.
“Huh?”
“Your sister has a horde of bees swarming all around her!”
Horde of…bees?
“Sabrina? Do you meant to say she has a lot of suitors?”
“Suitors?! They dared to court her?” I think what deadly I saw in his expression is just a usual facial feature because right now, it turned more… how can I say this… what is more than the word ‘deadly’?
But why is Yael acts like this?
And how did he knew Sabrina?
My sister is an introvert, she studies a lot and focused her mind into it. I know she have no time to fool around, let alone went to a place that may give the possibility in meeting this… man.
“Uh, no one courts her but I heard a lot like my sister--”
“I should have come earlier than this late!” he burst in rage.
“What?” I’m telling you, my confusion has no place to expand in my head but this Yael keeps giving me more!
“Your sister is mine!” Yael’s voice thundered and an impeccable expression was in his face that I paled.
Not because of fear of how he looks right now, but fear of what he just said.
My sister? Dear Sabrina? Is his? What on earth?!
I chuckled from the lack of humour I’m getting from all this. This guy transferred here from God knows where and then he claims that my sister is his possession?
Our family is wealthy. No one will dare to toy with our surname, at least in this town or maybe in the whole nation. So what nonsense is this man spouting about my sister?
Yael frowned and took a step back, moved by my reaction. Or was it taken aback?
“I-I’m sorry.” I kept on laughing and then my expression turned to a serious face, one that don’t want to be messed with. “What did you just say?”
The cold breeze of the wind swayed Yael’s shoulder length hair and I took my glasses off. No one messes with my sister.
Yael watched my move, studying my expression and probably trying to analyze what I was thinking but when I’m in this mode, no one will be able to read through me.
I’m not the son of the Montezar’s for nothing.
But unlike any other people who knew us well, Yael was different. He was not intimidated, I think no one will give him that feeling.
He walked to me, and his fist grabbed on my collar, almost bringing me up to the air.
“Sabrina. Is. Mine.”
From then, I saw what is wrong.
This guy knew my sister and he was obsessed with her.
“Now, I tried to be in good terms with you… brother.” his sarcasm was all over the place. “but if you will be a hindrance then I’m afraid I have to get you out of my way, too.”
He suddenly let go of my shirt, and I took a couple of steps back just to regain my posture. He is strong, yes. But he was quick to show what his weakness is.
And that is no other than my sister.
I smirked.
“I’m not getting in your way but…”
I tried to think hard of how I will escape this in a wise way, also to save my sister from this possible monster.
I sighed. “May I first know what is going on? You’re a new face, and I have no knowledge of your background or what backstory you had with my sister. How did you two met?”
There, right in front of my eyes, is where I saw the reaction that I was never expecting to have from this man.
He blushed.
My jaw dropped again and I thought, ‘wow. I think this guy is smitten.’
He covered half of his face and looked sideways just to hide how red he is!
“She… don’t know me…yet.”
I think my jaw just fell on the ground.

Sabrina’s POV
“Play some music.” I ordered when I saw him walking close, ready to start and my breath were to hitching. I need some more time to relax.
He walked to the TV screen and grabbed his tiny towel as he rubbed it in his slightly wet nape. I watched how there are still some droplets of water running down from his hair to his broad shoulders and back.
The sight made me bite the inside of my upper lip.
The beats of the music he chose was quick to run through my veins and damn, its making my hairs raise!
Yael turned, leaning on the TV stand as the intro of the song echoed around us. His eyes are deep and full of desire, it was as if he mirrors mine. I flushed from the thought of how I might look like to earn such emotion from this man…
His eyes travelled down to my nose, and to my lips, then slowly went to my neck down to my nose. I almost shifted on my seat from the way he gaze at me whole, I feel exposed. As if, I’m naked right in front of him.
Goddammit.
He took a step, a very slow step and the song started its first verse.

He moved his hands up, making all his biceps flexed and all his muscle seems to scream for me, its asking for me to come to him and touch them all, to graze them, caress--oh s**t.
He grind his waist and my eyes focused right there, adoring his moves while my thoughts advances to much more what that waist can do.
Through my lashes, I looked up at his face. He was looking right at me, his lips parted, and I love how his skin glistened from the room light.

“A-Accidentally.” I cleared my throat and tried hard to keep a straight face though I’m not sure if I’m doing a job well.
He groaned and grabbed on my wrist, placing my hands up in the air as he leaned down to my neck. Yael was avoiding any skin contact but his distance makes it feel like he was on my neck, grazing his lips on my sensitive skin.

He teased moving his head closer, as if his lips will touch mine and I parted my lips in assumption that he will kiss me. Only to curse myself when he moved on and now his neck is on my nose while his body continues to torment with its skilled move.
I don’t feel any sign of my episode. What I feel is a normal attraction, it was sensual but fueled too much by Yael’s moves. I couldn’t help but praise how good he is at this, even the temptation will be ashamed of his skill because he overruled it!

“S-Stop now!” I screwed my eyes shut as I mid-screamed the words.
A low chuckle escaped from his mouth and I narrowed my eyes at him, irritated that I feel like I’ve lost.
Instead of standing up, he placed his weight on my lap. Now he was sitting on me, and he encircled his muscular arms around my head to hold on the back rest.
I leaned back to have more space but I know how trapped I am in his arms.
Yael hissed and tilted his head up. I watched how his adam’s apple moved up and down from a hard swallow.
My brow furrowed from his confusing reaction. There’s no way he’s tired from that, right?
He harshly looked down with a sigh and I watched him in a baffled expression.
“Damn, I’m so turned on.” was what he uttered.
