Chapter Nineteen
Sabrina’s POV
I swallowed hard. Yael’s eyes are looking at me like he hypnotizes my soul, digging deep into my feelings and I am drawn. I am pulled by him so bad that I felt myself mirroring the same desire.
There’s no denying that I want him.
Delicious.
Delectable.
Tasty.
Was it his face? His body? The way his eyes looks at me? Maybe its the hot dance he did?
I bet… all of it.
Damn it. I think I’m getting soaked in between my legs and it screams danger, everyone! The only good thing from it was that: I am not having an episode, an attack, none.
I’m drawn naturally from his natural seductive aura, and any moment I know I will be drowning.
Yael groaned, closes his eyes and pressed his forehead with mine.
“Don’t look at me like you’re letting me to be turned on.” his voice was raspy, and the desperation and frustration is clear in every word.
But wow. Yael is acting like I’m holding a leash connected in his neck. What the hell?
“Didn’t know you need anyone’s permission to feel that.” I answered in a whisper.
Yael chuckled.
“Yeah. Surprising, huh.” I saw him open his eyes when his lashes moved and his gaze were on my lips. “You know what surprises me though?”
I gulped. How can lashes become an erotic part of a male body?
“H-Hmm?”
He pulled back but not too much that I think the tip of our noses are just two inches away. His eyes watches mine, no, observing it.
“You. Not pushed me away…”
My breathing hitched from what he said and the words dawned me. He is right. This is not me, I would’ve kicked the hell out of him because he was done with the dance but still seductive.
Yes, I always get angry of him by merely being seductive. It was irritating, so where is that feeling now?
Yael traced his fingers on my shoulder, going up to my neck. It makes me shiver and the arousal I’m feeling now is so natural. No attack was kicking in.
“See? You’re not pushing me away--”
“Yet.” I hissed and placed my palms on his chest to shove him away but he won’t budge from my pushing. “Get off now, Yael.” I rolled my eyes.
“That’s what I should do… get off you.” he said in a whisper as if he was lost in thoughts.
I’m starting to panic, to be honest. The moment I realizes how close he were, my body become sensitive of his skin brushing on mine. And it’s making me nervous.
“Ugh. Of course, you fucker. So get off me now!” I pushed harder but Yael grabbed on the chair with both of his hands and leaned closer.
“But why do I have a feeling that its not what you really want, Sabrina?”
My heart stopped beating.
“W-What are you saying? I already said ‘get off’!”
“I think those words meant another.” now his voice turned raspy that the hairs in my body rises.
My hands that pushes him away fell like I’m weakened so I rolled my eyes, trying to act bitchy because what I want is to take my eyes off him. It felt hard to do, taking my eyes off him.
I looked at the side, fighting myself to be swayed by his voice because, damned hell, its too much to handle.
“I meant every word. Get off. Stop trying to put words in my--”
My sentence was cut when Yael held my chin and turn my head to face him. It was a half forceful and half gentle move, I should get mad! But the way my eyes met his, my breath were hitched and his lips claimed mine melted all my anger.
It took me seconds before coming back to my senses. Yael is kissing me!
The kiss is not aggressive at all, not what he used to do, not what I used to have. He is merely pressing his lips on mine but the feeling of it is greater than a hot, arousing, tongue-to-tongue kiss!
I feel like a teenage who just got her first kiss, all those butterflies,
My eyes are open, wide. I see his eyes closed, his face was so relaxed and he looked better than how he really is.
And I don’t f*****g know why.
The kiss didn’t last for long, like we were grounded with electricity, only for a while. He let go of my lips and I can still feel how soft his lips were on my damped lips.
Yael opened his eyes, a smile is slowly formed in his face as he looked at my parted lips. Why does he look so happy now? It’s weird because the smile I often see from his face was an evil antagonist type.
“You call that a kiss?” I snorted and pushed him again. “Get off now before you ruin what’s left of your image.”
Yael chuckled but he stood on his feet and I looked up at him, trying my best to focus on his eyes because his hot body is pretty showing off.
“I’m intrigued on what’s your perspective of my image.” then he extended his hand, offering support or was it asking for me to stand up?
“Oh, don’t even ask.” I answered with arched brow and then rolling my eyes as I ignored his hand, stood up and walked to the bed.
“Should I take that as a bad thing?” he followed behind me.
I pulled the blanket and slide in it without looking at Yael but in my peripheral, he stopped just beside the bed.
“Well, its not a good thing.”
“Ohh.” he made a pained sound but chuckled after.
I sighed and finally looked at him. Now, Yael is walking towards the huge couch of the room.
“What are you doing?” I asked, frowning.
Yael looked at me and raised a brow. “I’m preparing my five-star luxury bed, baby and then try to fell asleep.”
I groaned from his sarcasm and rolled my eyes as I tapped the space beside me. “Sleep beside me, you idiot.”
I quickly pulled my gaze away from him but I had a glance of how his jaw dropped. I smirked slyly.
“You’re not kidding, right? ‘Cause I’ll jump on that comfortable space ‘next’ to you. For real.”
I lay down and closed my eyes, trying to ignore looking at him.
“Just get here before I change my mind and let you have your five-star luxury couch--”
My sentence was completed with a gasped when the bed moved as Yael literally jumped on it. My eyes are wide as I looked at the goofy smile on his face.
“No changing of mind now.” he winked and lay down.
I exhaled, not realizing that I actually held my breath.
“Weirdo.” I mumbled.
“I’m called worst.” he chuckled. “Goodnight, baby.”
I rolled my eyes and closed it after a sigh. “Not your baby.”
“Yet.” he said in a weak voice.

Xander’s POV
I know Sab is out of town but I wanted to make sure she is so here I am, standing beside my parked car in front of her house.
Her car is not here, but I don’t know if its on the garage. Should I go home? What if she’s just hiding from me right?
No, Sab won’t do that.
“The f**k is wrong with me…” I said in a sigh and straightened up, ready to leave. I should get the hell out of here before someone reports me to authorities as a creep waiting in the sidewalk.
I was about to open my car door when a car slows down beside me, honking once to caught my attention.
So I stopped.
Its window rolled down and I saw Spencer inside it.
“What are you doing out here, Xouliva?” he asked with his usual smirking face.
“Uh, just passing by.”
He looked around and I know from that expression that he do not believed my alibi.
“I’m… I was about to go so-”
“Nah. Let’s talk for a while. Come inside, I’ll just park the car.”
I bit the inside of my lower lip. “Uh, sure.”
Spencer should be still out by the evening and his sudden presence surprises me. Maybe he finishes work early, huh?
He led me in, gesturing that I should follow him inside so I did. He opened the front door without looking back to me so I quietly followed behind him.
“Take a sit. I’ll get some whisky.” he said and headed to the bar counter.
“Thanks.”
The house is quiet and all I could hear is the hand of the clock echoing through the place. Sabrina is really out of town, she really did go.
“Here.” Spencer’s hand holding a glass of whisky popped beside my head while I was looking at Sabrina’s room door. “Are you looking for my sister?” he asked once I received the drink.
I waited until Spencer sit on a couch opposing mine before answering.
“Kind of. Yeah.”
He chuckled. “She didn’t told you she won’t be home?”
My fingers tapped in the glass of liquor.
“She did. I just…” I shook my head slowly and just sipped on my drink because I also don’t know why I’m here at this hour.
“Hmm, you in doubt?”
“No! No, I mean, I was wondering if she got home. It’s late and I assumed she might come back… something like that.”
Spencer nodded and drank his whisky, finishing it with one gulp. I watched him for a while and I noticed something in his face.
He seemed more tired than his usual.
“She won’t be home tonight. Or tomorrow. She’s usually out of town for a week or more, never less. I’m sure she’ll contact you once she came back so don’t worry, Xander.”
I nodded and looked away. “You don’t look worried. You’re used to it?”
Spencer chuckled too loud that it sounded like a laugh. My brow raised from the sarcasm mixed in it.
“Oh, I always have someone to follow her around, you know.”
That someone must be trustworthy that Spencer acts like everything will be okay, huh?
“That’s a relief.” I sighed.
“Yeah. Well,” he stood up and grabbed the bottle of whisky and poured another round to his own glass. “…now that you’re here. I’d like to talk with you.”
My back straightened from how serious his voice turned. I watched him tilted his head up for a moment and then turned to look at me.
Spencer smiled. A total opposite of his serious voice is his over-friendly smiling face.
But another second and his face turned to a serious and poker expression.
“Break up with Sabrina, Xander. It’s for the best for you and your family.”
My jaw dropped.
“What?”
