Crystal POV
How long has she been like this? How did she get here? I need answers and by the goddess he’s going to talk. I thought as I made my way through the empty castle looking for Cayden. He’s so bitter, he must know it wasn’t his fault but alas here we are. I found him sitting at the edge of a stream that ran through the castle grounds just staring at the water.
“If you came here to preach to me, spare it” he said and I took a seat next to him
“Where did she come from?” I ask not looking at him, but he stayed silent.
“Cayden honey please” I begged but his shoulders tensed and I looked at him seeing the deep scowl on his face
“Just talk to me. You’ve been missing for years and all of a sudden you phone in the middle of the night asking for my help. I need to know please” I begged
