Chapter Five

"Truth or Dare?." I asked Dave as we reached the large room upstairs. My eyes scanned the large circle of people formed. He nodded answering my question. The walls were sound proof so the music playing downstairs couldn't be heard anymore. "People still play that?." "Of course they do. What better way to find out people's personal dirty secrets." He grinned mischievously. "I'm not playing." I said. "What? Why?." "I don't drink." "That's exactly why you'll have to answer the questions or do the dare." I shook my head. "I don't think I'm interested in revealing my secrets to a bunch of strangers or even locking lips with them." He frowned. "Does that mean you'll play when you get to know everyone in the circle." "Maybe not everyone. But yes. I will when I know a few dozen people." "Then I guess I've got a mission to do then." I frowned. "Mission?." "Getting you to know more people." He said before dropping the cups and then sat between a girl with pink hair and an Asian guy." I looked around and sat on a vacant chair away from the circle of people. I watched as a guy opened a cheap whiskey bottle pouring it into all the cups. "So this goes counterclockwise. I start." A brunet guy said. "Melanie truth or dare?." "Dare." A thin blonde said as she pushed her chest out proudly. The guy smirked. "Take off you bra." I chuckled. How typical. She stood up her hands reached her back under her blouse unclasping her bra before she pulling both straps down her arms revealing her pink bra. She swung her bra in the air as she got cheered by the other players. After the cheers she finally sat down and the game continued. "Stacy truth or dare." The next person asked. My eyes scanned the circle till they landed on the blonde I met the day before. "Dare." Stacy said boldly. "I dare you to give Dave a hickey." He told her. "Dave?" She asked with wide eyes. "Yes." he smirked. "He's my cousin you i***t. That's a very weird fetish you've got there Stanley." She rolled her eyes before downing a drink. Her face scrunched up in disgust as the drink hit her throat. The game continued and I zoned out on it. I brought my phone out of my pocket and began replying my friends' texts. I'd missed those lot so much. I rolled my eyes as I read Lewis' message asking who looked better between British and American lads. 'I don't know' I had replied and he replied back with 'You're no fun.' I was about asking him if he had visited my house since I left. Lewis was practically family. My parents adored him, he was like the son they never had. But then I heard a name which caused me to snap my attention back to the game. "Bring on the dare baby." Dave replied smugly. "Pretend like you’re making sweet, sweet, love to the couch for one minute." She said and got a few oohs from the circle. Even I was interested in seeing that. "You guys should get up from the couch and give me some space." Immediately the couch was free. Dave pulled off his T-shirt swiftly like he had had too many practices with taking off his shirts. With a face like his, he probably had. He tossed it aside and a few girls and guys cheered as he left his torso naked and on full display. He knelt on the couch, his arms stretched out in front of him like he was holding onto something. A waist. The perverted part of my brain knew. "I'm in this position because doggy style is my favorite." he smirked. And then he started moving his hips slowly front and back repeatedly grunting and groaning loudly, exaggeratedly even. If you closed your eyes you'd actually think he was really in the act. I covered my mouth with my hand to stop myself from barking out a laugh. A few girls were giggling too. "Oh babe you feel so good. You like that? You want it faster?" He groaned huskily it sounded so real. It was embarrassing to watch him act like that. My face felt hot from how hard I was blushing. Dave was certainly one with character. A minute went by and he was awarded with the loudest cheer since the game started. He got on his feet and bowed down as if he was on stage thanking the audience before he put his shirt on. I couldn't help the smile on my face. Just before taking his seat his eyes met mine. He gave me a grin and a wink before he finally sat down. The game continued till it was my cousin's turn. "I dare you to make out with the person you find the most attractive in this room for a minute." The guy had told Cat. I knew she liked Harry so I expected her to walk over to him and kiss him but then she surprised me and a few other people by the sudden gasp they had when she moved and straddled Dave. Her lips immediately on his. Even Dave was surprised with how tense and rigid he became. A few seconds into their kiss he had started kissing her back with the same ferocity. His hand trailed down her back and landed on her bum. I wondered why she chose to kiss Dave and not Harry when she had specifically warned me to stay away from Harry and how she said she didn't care about the other two lads. And now she was snogging one of those she didn't care about. A minute passed and she stood up from Dave's thighs a smirk and her pink lipstick on his face. She walked back to her seat looking somewhat satisfied. Stacy snapped her opened mouth shut before wrinkling her nose in disgust. Her best friend had just snogged her cousin. I'd be disgusted too if I were close with my cousin and had Dave as my best friend. A girl that picked truth was asked what age she had lost her virginity and she replied fourteen. The game went on till they went round the circle and then they switched to playing beer pong which Harry won. I checked the time on my phone as I tried to stifle a yawn. "Tired?." A voice whispered behind me. Their warm breath hitting my neck. I turned around and Nick stood in front of me both hands in his pocket. "It's almost one am, I think I deserve to be tired." "Do you need a ride home?." I eyed him suspiciously. "I didn't drink if that's what you're worried about." "How can I trust you? You got the whiskey for the game." I asked feeling skeptical. "I don't drink. All I did was get the whiskey for everyone else." His jaw clenched. I think he was starting to get angry. It wasn't like my ride there could get me back home anyways. I saw Allison drag her passed out body to one of the rooms in the corridor. Besides, I don't think I saw Nick drink anything from a cup or something and I also didn't smell any alcohol on him so I nodded. "Okay." ******* I trudged lazily in the kitchen. It was barely eight am on a Saturday. I should still be in bed but Cassie had called for me. She had sent Jack, her cute eight year old son, to come for me. "Good morning." I greeted when I got to where she was stood. "How was your night El? Did you sleep well?." She asked me. "Yes thank you. How was yours?." "Short but it was sufficient." She gave a small smile. "You called for me." I said. I just hoped my Mum hadn't told her anymore personal information about me. It'll be worse if things got anymore awkward than they already were. "Oh yes. Breakfast is ready." She said in a singsong voice. And I let out a relieved sigh. She looked at me with a knowing look and her lips twitched as she tried not to smile. She had heard me sigh. "Eleanor." She called as she wiped her hands clean. I met her eyes with wide ones and the look in her eyes told me what she was about to say. "You--." She began but I cut her off. "Let me help you with the plates." I said quickly. There was no way I was gonna stand there and discuss about me with my aunt who was still a stranger to me. I picked up some plates, I didn't even know if they were needed or not but anything to get away from being questioned is what I'll do. I walked to the dining room and there was Kyle chasing Jack around the table. I dropped the plates on the table and noticed there were no plates there yet. I sighed, relieved that I hadn't totally embarrassed myself. "Ellie help me." Jack called as he hid behind my legs. Kyle looked up at me as if just noticing I was now in the room with them. Colour rushed to his cheeks as he stood there in front of me as red as a tomato. "H-hi Eleanor." He said. "Hello Kyle." I smiled. It was incredible how easily he got red whenever he saw me. "Still not used to me." I teased and he blushed harder his gaze dropped to his feet unable to meet my eyes. I chuckled softly. He was cute. "Kyle is shy around girls that are not my mom or Cat. His cheeks are the color of strawberry." Jack giggled and Kyle looked up at him with a glare. "Settle down kids." Cassie said as she entered the room. "Where is Cat?." We all picked a chair and sat around the table. "She threw her pillow at me when I went to her room. I didn't even say anything and she said I was shouting." Jack pouted. "That's exactly why you shouldn't drink." Kyle said. "No. She's just mean. Ellie went to that party too and she didn't scream at me." Jack frowned. Cassie looked up at me. "How did you two get back home. Don't tell me you drove when you've been drinking earlier." "I couldn't find Catherine anywhere so Nick drove me home." I wasn't gonna tell her I saw her daughter passed out drunk on the sofa. "You don't look hungover." She said after eyeing me a bit. "I didn't drink." I said. "Kyle go give your sister some water and Tylenol." Cassie said. "Why me? it's not like she'll do the same for me." He grumbled under his breath before getting on his feet and leaving the room. ****** My phone rang just as I stepped out of the bathroom. I walked to my bed picking up the call quickly before it stopped ringing. "Hello. Is this Eleanor?." A deep voice rang from the speaker. I pulled my phone from my ear and looked at the screen. The number wasn't in my contact list. But what was even more surprising was the dialing code. The person was calling from England. I placed the phone back on my ear. "Who is this?." I asked. "Eleanor." He breathed. "How are you?" "Fine?." I answered unsure of what to say. I still didn't know who was speaking. "Who am I speaking with please?." "Are you saying you don't recognize my voice. I'm a bit hurt by that." He spoke with a London accent, that I was certain of. I didn't have many friends from London. Only about three or four, two of which were males. I tried to give his voice a face. Only Otis and Isaac came to mind and I don't think anyone of the two had a voice as deep as that. Besides I only just got a new number the day before and only Lewis amongst all my friends had it. And Lewis couldn't have given it to Otis or Isaac 'cause he didn't even know any one of them. The harder I thought I couldn't come up with a name besides those two. It wouldn't hurt to ask so I did just that. "Is it Otis?." I asked. "Otis? Who's that?." Obviously not you. "Then it's Isaac right." "I'm a hundred percent sure my name isn't Isaac." "Then tell me who you are and stop playing games with me." I snapped. He clicked his tongue. "I don't know if I should be hurt by the fact that you don't recognize my voice or that you thought of other blokes but your fiancé." Instantly my heart dropped in my ribcage. "Prince?." I stuttered. "Now that's what I'm called."
