Assi lowered the heavy cardboard box she was carrying. It contained several bedsheets and pillowcases. Today, she visited Doctor Cindy's clinic. Doctor Cindy was an obstetrician-gynecologist, and she was Assi's friend. Assi often helped out at the clinic on her rest days from work. Sometimes, Doctor Cindy would teach her things that the doctor believed she could quickly understand and apply when needed while assisting at the clinic. Assi began changing the pillowcases of two pairs of pillows on a bed. As she remembered something she needed from her bag, she stepped out of the room.

"You're such a hardworking person, Assi. Here you are again," said one of the clinic's patients. The patient had a large, bulging belly. Some of the patients were starting to recognize Assi because of her frequent visits there.

"Hello, Ms. Candice." She smiled at her. "Looks like you're about to give birth soon. Your belly is so big." She admired the roundness of her belly. She had probably encountered all kinds of patients at Cindy's clinic, and Candice was her favorite because, aside from often greeting her, she was very kind. "Congrats, it looks like it's really close."

"Yeah. I'll make you the godmother when the time comes." Candice laughed and sat in the waiting area. "I just have something to consult with Doc, that's why I'm here."

"Aren't you in your last month? Why did you come here?"

"Assi," Doctor Cindy called and approached. She came from inside the office. "Someone is looking for you."

She furrowed her brow. "W-who?" Who could be looking for her at Doctor Cindy's clinic? No one knows that she volunteers there. So how could someone be looking for her with Doctor Cindy?

"Oh, Girl, you look beautiful." She laughed. "Two men are looking for you and it seems important, so I let them in the office. Just go and see them. I'll take care of things here." Cindy smiled and approached Ms. Candice.

She didn't ask any further, but she couldn't help but wonder who could be looking for her. She shook her head and immediately headed to the doctor's office to meet the two men that the lady mentioned were looking for her. She gently knocked three times and opened the door. Her eyes widened when she recognized the man standing. He was her previous customer at the department store. The man sitting across from Doctor Cindy's desk was unfamiliar to her, so she didn't pay much attention. "Mr..." She didn't know his name. "W-what are you doing here? Why are you looking for me?" She slowly closed the door behind her as she entered. Her feelings suddenly changed in that moment.

"Hello, Assi." The man smiled widely and extended his hand. "I'm Simon, and this is my friend Alejandro. It's nice meeting a beautiful lady like you."
