O.B. walked into Jason’s a little after 9:20. He looked around the pub. He didn’t see Avery at first. He checked his watch and scolded himself for purposely coming a bit late, so as not to look to anxious. Maybe Avery’d gotten tired of waiting, decided O.B. wasn’t going to show and left. Finally, however, O.B. located him at the bar. His relief that he hadn’t missed Avery surprised him but it was quickly replaced by anxiety when he saw the man at the bar talking with a tall, good-looking guy. O.B. didn’t know what to do.
