‘What are they building here?’ Caroline asked as they approached the construction site where the body had been found.
‘A luxury spa hotel and resort, apparently. One of those places where you get to eat seaweed and have your face rubbed with an organic Rutland Water trout.’
‘Sounds… nice.’
‘Sounds expensive, more like. It’s costing them millions to build. Dread to think what the prices will be like when it’s open.’
They parked up and showed their ID to PC Karina Gallagher, the officer at the entrance to the site, who updated them on what had happened.
‘One of the builders found him hanging from the scaffolding. Someone said he’s the architect who designed the place, but we haven’t had confirmation of that yet.’
Caroline swallowed. ‘What’s the name of the construction company?’
