It was working. Angel was starting to respect Eva more and see her inner strength.
Due to Eva’s past, Angel was holding out on connecting more. Wanting to have control when she deemed a threat, thinking Eva couldn’t handle herself, or her mate.
Angel just needed to see Eva for what she was; an incredibly strong woman.
