Kal didn’t seem to notice as he continued and started telling stories of Aria going full dramatics in battle. He left all the gory bits out… well, tried to, as halfway through one story he stopped short and looked at me.
I rolled my eyes, it wasn’t half obvious where the story was going. I just waved for him to continue, but Aria took over and finished the story in her sassy way. She knew why he stopped but just gave me a wink as she continued.
