It didn't take long before Lady Cecila and a few other vampires had replied to the emails and messages. They all didn’t know or were responsible for the vampires captured.
The vampire and humans that didn’t get in were captured and were currently being questioned. I didn’t want to ask what that would entail.
So far though, no one was talking.
I felt a bit out of place but thought I should be listening… but should I?
I finally thought I was getting a moment to think and then this happened. Yay!
Killian walked over and crouched in front of me. “I need to go and speak to the prisoners.” I could see the hesitation on his face.
“Of course. Go. I need to set everything up for work tomorrow anyway. Moira and the other guards are here so I’m fine.”
“I’m sorry your afternoon was ruined.”
