Blanaid walked me over to a small area that had a few bags and things. She told me how they were just going around pulling out a few weeds and checking for pests.
I asked her about the unicorns, and she gave me a huge smile. “Oh yes, we have a few animals here that are seen as either extinct in the human world or made up. They are wild animals though, so best to keep your distance.”
I agreed and we went into the field. I enjoyed puttering around pulling out weeds. “What do you do if you find a bug?” Surprisingly, there weren’t many at all, and it took a little while to find one.
She let out a whistle. “Throw it in the air above you and watch.”
So I did but made sure it was up and in front, so it wouldn’t come back down and hit me in the head.
