Haunted Part 3

Many thoughts are going in Mr.Mandvi’s mind will vicky break off from Nikita how much did he see , what did he feel all mixed fears regarding his daughters future. He decided to be quite and let Vickey make the move , he gets down from the car and goes towards them with the torch light in his hand shivering in the cold weather and also with anxiety he goes and sits besides his daughter and looks at Vicky . Vickey gestures him to be quite and help him lift Nikita and put her in the car they both lift her and put her in the car then both sit in the front seat ,and Mandvi drives the car slowly towards the house the house is not far from the water body .They reach home Mrs. Mandvi was waiting for them very anxiously she helps Nikita to her bed and put her to sleep and cover her with a blanket and both come out to talk to Vicky who was sprawled  on the sofa Mrs Mandvi brings hot cup of coffee for all they sip on it silently  not knowing what to expect they want the coffee to go on for long so that they don’t have to say anything to Vicky .After the coffee gets over Vicky gets up and hugs Mr.Mandvi and tells them to go and sleep as it is very late and he also wants to finish his work which he needs to submit tonight and then go to sleep .He tells them  good night and goes to his room closes the door behind him ,the Mandvi get up Mrs. mandvi takes the cups to the kitchen and washes them for long as she is shocked Vicky did not talk about the incidence . Then she switches off the lights and slowly climbs up the stairs ,and goes to her daughters room sits near her head touches it cleans her fore head talks to her lovingly ,telling her whatever decision Vicky takes tomorrow they will support it and they will all go through it together .And kisses her and walks back to her room there she sees her husband is not on his bed she see for him and goes and finds him in the gallery sitting on his rocking chair and looking at the sky and tears rolling down his cheeks. She goes from behind bends down and kisses his hed and wipes his tears and tells him to get up and not to think too much whatever happens will happen as it is destined .So leaving it on Almighty she gives him her hand and takes him to the bed to sleep they soon fall asleep in eachothers arm. Morning the day was normal but all were still fast asleep when the gardener came around 11 am for tending to the plants Mrs. Mandvi woke up and started her morning chores she made coffee for her self ass rest were still sleeping she drank in a relaxed mood then went to check on her daughter she was not on her bed a cold sweat dripped on her spine then she saw Nikita come out of her washroom looking very fresh and happy she saw her mother and gave her a tight hug  and told her she was starving and she felt like eating a big omelet and toast with marmalade her mother smiled at her and took her hand kissed it and both went down Nikita sat on the swing and started to read the morning Newspaper and her mother went to the kitchen and started making breakfast for her daughter after sometime Nikita got up from her swing and went towards the window to breath in the fresh breeze ,she looked at the activity of dogs playing on the street crows searching for food in the garbage van and then she felt someone was staring at her she looked inside the garden the gardener was staring at her in a very strange way she saw him and he smiled at her ,she covered the window with the curtain and came to the kitchen to see whether her breakfast was ready .she sits on the kitchen counter and starts eating her breakfast as she was very hungry her mother looks at her adoringly.after she finishes she asks her mother about the gardener her mother tells her his gardener is the nephew of their gardener as he had to go to the city he had told his nephew to do the work on his behalf for few days and he comes from  the other side of the  river he stays there. . Nikita tells her mother she did not like the way he was staring at her.Her mother tells her to ignore him and they both go to the hall and wait  for others to come and join them .First Mr. Mandvi comes and sees his daughter all fresh and sitting with her mother and talking , the sight makes him very happy. He gestures to his wife about Vicky has he got up ,she tells him not yet he has not come out for breakfast . Mandvi tells her probably he might have slept late .so not to disturb him but Vicky joins them in few minutes and asks for his breakfast and tells he is starving and wants to eat a lot so that he can keep up with Nikita’s energy and he looks at Nikita and winks at her and laughs both the Mandvis also laugh only NNikita does not know the joke so she makes a sad face and wants to know what was the joke about Vicky tells her first let him finish the meal then he will tell her about the joke ,when Vicky talks he can see a shadow on the curtain which Nikita had just covered he feels someone is listening to his talks so he goes slowly towards the window and opens the curtain and looks out but does not see any body . Nikita tells him to draw the curtain as she does not want to look out so he again pulls the curtain.NNikita is curious to know what Vicky has to say about her energy so after everybody finishes their meal and relax Vicky tells her what he had seen in the previous night ,he tells her she can take part in Marathons she runs in the wind her speed is devilish with her hair flying in the air ,so if he has to run with her he will need lot of energy and he again laughs now Nikita is not finding this funny at all and she wants to protest and deny doing all this when she sees her parents gesturing her to keep quiet .Then Vicky turns towards Mr. Mandvi and tells that tonight he will leave for Mumbai and then discuss the marriage details with his parents and then will be in contact with them .So he tells them that as he will have lot of packing to do and then he will have to talk to his company for a transfer to Jaisalmer as he and Nikita will be staying .the day goes very nice with all deciding on the guest list the songs on which they   will dance  lot of laughter and jokes are said and everybody talks about their experiences of marriage and then the time comes for Vicky to leave for the Airport .He goes to meet Nikita in her room and embraces her tightly and tells her to preserve all the energy for him and not to spend her energy on running .and when Nikita is about to protest he kisses her mouth and stops her from talking and they end up kissing very passionately  ,their first kiss.In the evening Mr.Mandvi and Nikita drop Vicky to the Airport and while returning they both father and daughter are quiet.instead  of taking the car towards the house Mandvi takes.it to the river side and both look at the river flowing calmly  they both are holding hands and then after some time Nikta asks her father why has he brought her there doesn’t  he want to go home  Mandvi tells her he brought her there to see if she remembers anything she asks her father what can she remember from there as she has not come there from the time they have shifted to the new house it is today with him she has visited this place though it is so near to the house and is visible from the window.Her dad tells her that Vicky saw her running in the night towards the river and he followed her there ,and then she lost her consciousness and fell to the ground,and then he called him to help him to take her back home .Nikita starts to cry she tells her father to believe her she does not remember doing anything like that she says after her dinner she went straight to the bed and fell asleep. Her father tells her he believes her but what should they do how to solve this mystery.Nikita tells her father to take her home so they go home and she goes to her bedroom and searches for an answer to her weird habits she comes across sleep walking and reads a lot about it for two days and finally tells her father she needs to go and see a psychiatrist  he agrees and they see for a good doctor take an appointment and on the appointed date they go and meet the doctor first the doctor talks to her and then to her father and asks him when she actually started sleepwalking was it from childhood he tells him it was just one year back after she completed her 19th birthday. Doctor tells them she will be cured sometimes some trauma of new places changes in surrounding can also affect the brain so regular session for three weeks and some medicine which she has to take every day ,So both come home satisfied and happy mother is also relieved Vicky calls up to talk to the Mandvis and also talks and jokes with Nikita .though they don’t tell him about going and seeing the doctor . Vicky is very excited about the marriage and is planning the places they will visit in India after marriage.

Vicky with his family and friends come to Rajasthan for the marriage which will be held in a day with a small ceremony with close friends and family .After Vicky left for Mumbai Nikita completed her one month session with her doctor who advised her to take the medicines regularly and not to miss taking it.The atmosphere in Nikita house was of lot of happiness people and friends coming in for the ceremony lot of dancing with her friends ,rituals and atlast the main ceremony for which Vicky was waiting for so many years he always knew he would be marrying her she is made for her .In the night after the marriage the couple is left alone in their room it is a new house which Vicky and Nikita had chosen to live in after their marriage .it was quiet big there were four bedrooms and a big hall and a kitchen the their bedroom was decorated with many colour full flowers Nikita and Vicky confess their feelings for each other and slowly they start exploring each others body vicky with tender touch makes Nikita feel very precious and they consummate their marriage and become one soul and one body.

Morning Nikita gets up and inspects all the rooms ,she goes to each and every room to see the arrangement with a cup of coffee in her hand feeling the fresh air and going around the room she finds all the room clean and intact only the fourth bedroom she is surprised to see the curtain rod had broken and the curtain was lying on the floor she also felt the bed was used to sleep by someone though no one stayed back , she thought probably while decorating her room for the night the family members might have used the room ,she suddenly heard water being splashed in the washroom she was scared to go in the washroom she felt maybe someone is still in the room still tre so she slowly closed the bedroom from out and went to check on Vicky she enters her room and does not find Vicky she is really frightened she starts calling out to vicky and suddenly she is pulled behind and a hand covers her eyes and turns her around and a very warm lips is planted on her burning lips she pushes the person away and ses Vicky laughing at her she is too breathless and does not like this act a bit she starts crying Viky apologises to her she says there is someone in one of the bedroom and now its Vicky turn to get scared she tells him it was the reason she had come in search of him now lets go and check out very reluctantly both go towards the room ,but are too scared to open the door .Vicky pushes the door wide open and tells her to be near the door and if there is someone she should run out of the house and call for help she stands out and he see the room it is not the way Nikita had said the rod was in its place and the curtain was flying in the wind he slowly goes towards the window closes it and then checks the bed it is also unused and clean ,then he push opens the washroom and slowly put his head inside but it as dry as ever no tap was left open.He closes the door and says a small prayer and comes out and tells her everything is fine nothing is unkept he tells her after the love he showered on her in the night she might have been intoxicated and kisses her playfully .Then tels her after breakfast they will go out for lunch and a movie so she can relax now.They both have good breakfast and after getting ready they go out and shop for many things for their new house Nikita is so engrossed in shopping and Vicky is busy capturing her on his camera he simply adores her they also visit Temples and offer their gratitude ,They feed the poor children as a treat and sharing their happiness . They have a hearty lunch after shopping so hard and then go to the theater to watch a movie half way through the movie Nikita falls asleep .After the movie they decide to have dinner outside and then go home and sleep after a light meal and pastries they reach home when they get out of the car the house is dark they had not kept any lights on before leaving the house in the morning now looking at the darkness both are feeling spooky ,they decide to keep aal the shopping bags in the car and just go in first and pick it up in the morning .They close the garage and look up at the room which Nikita had suspected someone might have used she feels uneasy ,Vicky hold her hand and they go slowly towards the door he opens it with the key and slowly steps in to the house and start searching for the switches on the wall Nikita by then her one hand is held by Viky so she struggles to on her cell phone light and puts it on her face as she is a newly married bride she has applied red lipstick and eyes are covered with mascara and her scared expression makes her look devilish when Vicky turns to see the source of light he sees Nikita face and screams in fright and somehow she gets the switch and put it on.but no one laugh at any body as both were very scared .They quickly go to their room and close the door and change and hold each other tightly and go to sleep .In the morning the day again begins with bringing in all the shopping bags in the house decorating the house cooking meals together spending lot of quality time ,making love , and again it’s time to go to sleep .In the middle of the night Vicky wants to drink water and lifts his bottle he finds it empty .so he sits on the bed and stretches to get Nikita’s bottle from her side of the bed table but when he is stretching taking care not to wake her up   he sees she is not on the bed he switchen on the bedroom light,he sees her bottle is full of water then where did she go he decides to first drink water and then he opens the washroom to check if she is in  but she is not in then he comes out of the room goes to the kitchen its dark there so he turns from there then he slowly opens the same bedroom which Nikita had complained about he goes inside he can see the room clearly as moonlight is falling  in the room he turns his head all around to see if anyone is there ,he opens the window to see outside he feels some drops falling on his head he touches it with his hand it feels sticky he tries smelling it and it smells like blood , he immediately puts his cell phone light and checks it he sees blood he is shocked he puts his head out and looks up to see from where it is falling the movement he turns up Nikitas head which is fully in blood is staring at him her body is hanging in the air and she is smiling at him with blood falling from her face and she screams at him goooo awayyy in a very wild roaring sound he is taken aback looking at her hanging and then she slowly crawls down from the roof of the house and peeps inside to see him he has by now gone till the room door but is still looking at her in disbelief her hair is flying in the air and only her head is seeing him from the open window , he calls out to her wants to know what happened to her how she is dangling but she again crals little more down so that Vicky can see her twisted body and broken legs she jumps in he runs away she calls out to him saying he wanted to know how she landed on the roof what happened to her now why is he running away Vicky runs to his room and closes the door he is breathing heavily he is trying to call her parents and tell about her but both of them are not lifting the phone he desperately tries Mr. Mandvis phone but no response the banging on the door becomes louder and now the noise of roaring and growling and hissing is become more in number Vicky feels as if many devils have entered the house .and when he is trying to find a way to escape and run away it is very silent outside he is tempted to see what is happening outside but he is very shocked and crying to see his wife in that form he can not believe how all this happened and what about her parents he wants to escape and go see her parents.May be they know what has happened to Nikita .Finally after he gets little strength he opens the door and peeps out side and he is shocked to see Mr. and Mrs Mandvi crawling on the floor with their limbs hanging and blood every where and Nikita searching for food in the refrigerator  she was eating raw chicken pcs  Vicky’s eyes popped out he closed the  door and tied a bed sheet to the window and slid down the house and ran out of the place without turning to look back one last time .He ran as fast as he could he did not bother to stop anywhere .He gets a cab and seeing his condition the cab man does not question him much and drops him to the Airport there he books an early flight to Mumbai .Falls asleep in the Airport and then reaches his house in the morning .He knocks at his door his mother opens the door takes him in and gives him hot milk to drink tells him to have a wash and when he comes out and sits next to her ,she gives him a one month old news paper which her maid had brought with the laundry clothes .Vicky opens the front page and on the second page a gruesome accident photos were published with mutilated bodies of one young lady and her parents .and noone had come forward to claim the bodies as their identity was not found ,but Vicky  and his mother identified the photos and recognised by Nikitas anklet which Vicky had got it made specially for her  and had made her wear when she had accepted his proposal.
