"I can't believe you're actually going to this thing." Alec said as we got into the elevator.
"Well, it's close to where we opened our new headquarters. Why not check out the other CEOs in the area?" I replied.
We had just arrived at the hotel in Oregon. The new McCarthy Tech Headquarters has been put up here. Alec and I are set to move into our new homes in two weeks. We weren't supposed to come out until then, but I decided to attend the little thing.
Besides, we need a little vacation. I haven't stopped working in years. I didn't even take holidays off.
"Check them out?" Alec asked. "You already know Janna. Remember? She hits on you in the most classy way I've ever seen a woman approach you before."
