"Setson, these plans... I'm impressed, son," Dad said proudly. "This is why I wanted you to take over sooner."
I just handed Dad a new business plan. I haven't taken over the company yet. I needed to learn the position too. Unfortunately for me, I am actually perfect at this job.
It's not like I hate it. I just didn't want to work my life away. Dad missed everything growing up. He was hardly around because of work, and he worked a lot of late nights. I don't want that.
However, I have been scheming on my own. If I have to take over, I want to make sure I'm home for dinner at least most nights. This business plan will help me accomplish that while also making us money.
