Man, this fu.cking sucks. Just when I plan this trip with Violet, work has to get in the way. This is exactly why I didn't want to be CEO. If anything goes wrong, I have to come here and fix it.
It's true that this trip was for business. Just the first half, though. The first week was full of meetings with a company in Hawaii. I would have had to work and schmooze some other CEO's, but Violet could have helped me with that.
The second week was for us though. I had Alec plan a few things for us to do. Beautiful hikes, snorkeling, dates in the best spots, and we were even staying in a private hut instead of a hotel. And one of those nights... I had a special plan.
