“Why would you tell Maxwell about Isabella?” he asks Nina through gritted teeth. Nina’s eyes widened.
“Dad, Maxwell was asking me who else is there in my family. Isabella is going to be present in the upcoming functions now that she is back” she explains to dad.
“You should have told me that there itself. Maxwell’s dad was unhappy that we did not even mention about Isa” he says with a deep sigh. Then he turns to me.
“Sweetie, in the engagement we are going to officially introduce you to the family” he informs me.
“You will attend the function, right?” he asks with an uneasy look on his face.
