Liam "So, I don't think you ever told me what brought you here...Out of all the places you ended up here in this little town?" I asked Maggie. Her body stiffens at the questions and if I wasn't a werewolf I might have missed it, but I caught the hitch in her breathing and the way her pulse had kicked up a notch. The question threw her off or was she about to lie to me. She looks down at her half-eaten salad and tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "Oh, I think the town is really pleasant actually. I've always wanted to live in a place where you knew who everyone was because there wasn't...a lot of people." And she chose to lie. I watch as her nostrils flare. That's okay, I won't call her out on it just yet. She is warming up to me and I'm just trying to get a feel for who she is
