“Why did the alpha not put in the request?” Lucas asked, “You know we deal with the alpha's directly,”
“That's because Alpha Jackson was currently on another territory when the issue broke out,” Noah answered.
Lucas leaned back on his chair as he rubbed his chin, “You need to make sure that the beta has the go ahead from his alpha,”
“Alpha Jackson isn't as straightforward as he presents himself,” Lucas confessed.
“Based on my observations, he's weary of the enforcers but still presses to have a connection,”
“But why?” Noah asked, confusion on his face.
“Why else? Someone is behind him or someone is pushing him”.
