Have you ever had one of those out-of-body experiences where you feel like you are a character in someone else’s book or movie? The plot has been building up in slow motions, the two leads getting to know each other, their connection unexplainable and their souls crying out for one another, as if there is some sort of cosmic bond pulling them together. Then just at the crux of the moment, the female lead realizes that the man she has been letting into her heart inch by inch, is actually some magical creature and everything they have ever known about their existence becomes a giant question mark. That feels like me right now. A movie character living out some odd plot twist, only this is my office and I know I am no actress.
