Despite my best efforts to fall asleep, a groaning sound of agony awakened me. But I knew already that it was Sia, so I hurried into her room even though she was still asleep. However, her body continued to wriggle and move, and she was sweating heavily.
“Please don’t murder my mum.” She murmured in her sleep. As I stroked her skin to soothe her, she opened her eyes. And she blocked my hand and her wolf on the surface as she was about to strike me. But when she saw me, her wolf let go of my hand, and Sia wiped the sweat from her forehead.
