Carl "Is this really okay?" Sandra asked. I glanced over at her, then turned my face toward the road. I was driving us to my parent's place. It was the most convenient place for us to meet, seeing as it was far out of town. I'd picked her up in the business district, so as long as no one paid too close attention to us, we wouldn't get caught if we did this. "It'll be fine," I said, tapping my fingers on the wheel. "I don't need permission to invite someone home. If there were anyone there, they probably wouldn't mind meeting you." The only thing was that, aside from the house staff, my parents weren't there.
