Sandra I left home not long a bit early, about an hour after I had a late breakfast. It meant I would have to skip lunch and replace it with an early dinner, but I just really wanted to see Carl again. I hadn't seen him since he'd left my house on Sunday, and even though it was only a bit over a day ago, I missed him. In too deep, a cautious part of me piped up. I am in way too deep for something without promises. Still, it wasn't as if I could promise him a future, either. Worst case scenario, I wouldn't even be alive six months from now. I tried not to think about it, but that was my current reality. I pushed those thoughts away as I started walking.
