Chapter 15- Let's earn Glory

Before we went back to the guild, Henry and I escorted the two herbalists back to their building. But before we left, Caleb gave us a stack of coins. Henry looks at him with confusion, causing him to scratch his head.
“That is your p*****t for escorting us,” Caleb spoke with a smile.
Henry turned pale and gave the coins back, “I'm sorry, but I cannot accept any p*****t. Especially I haven't done anything to protect you. I even only stood there engulf in fear.”
Caleb shoves back the coins to Henry. He then grabs Henry's hands before moving his face closer. “Don't worry about it. You still performed your duties of escorting us back here safely.”
“B-but Caleb, this is something that I cannot."
Caleb moves his face close to Henry, which leads to Henry's face becoming a tomato red color. The girls walking in the town even stop to glimpse at the two handsome boys, whose faces are so close that the girls started to think in their minds that the two boys were kissing.
“Is this what they call forbidden love between the same genders. Those two are so cute together.”
“Isn't that the herbalist assistant of Harmon? Who is that handsome guy with him?"
The girls giggle as they watch the two boys. Henry could feel chills run down his spine as he knew what the girls were thinking. Meanwhile, this was an amusing scene for me.
‘That's right, female humans. Humiliate this hero with your more perverted thoughts than men. Give him the biggest fear and trauma he will experience for years. Ship him with another man, this wool haunt this hero. Psychological scars are worst than physical wounds.’
Henry immediately pulls his hand away from Caleb. He then walks away from a few steps. “Sorry, Caleb, but I have to go somewhere. My party members are waiting for me in the guild. Also, I will be taking this p*****t. Thanks, I'll be going now."
Henry immediately rushes towards the guild. However, as he runs, Henry thought to himself. “Those girls were terrifying. I feel they are comprehending scary things between Caleb and me."
I think this a great time to make fun of Henry. “Why did you leave Henry. You know, I imagined that you could get along with Caleb. Or even better, you two can become boyfriends. Haha!"
“Shut up, Otis.”
We arrived at the guild. The girls were already there waiting for us. Medina was looking the same. However, Anne had a severe look on her face. It's like she encountered something terrifying.
“Hey, I'm back,” Henry spoke to the girls, who immediately turned their gaze at him.
“Oh, your back," Medina replied as Henry took his seat.
But as Henry gazes upon Anne's expression, he asks her with curiosity. “Did something terrible happened on your end, princess?"
“Nothing wrong happened; however, I learned something terrible, which we should immediately send back to my father and the church.”
Henry had all ears directed to Anne after hearing her. So he asks, “What is this terrible thing you found?”
“One of the Evil Emperors commanders is lurking in this area. A continent-level threat like that monster needs the army's action with the holy church's army."
Henry then spoke, ”Mukdhul, is that the name of the commander?"
Anne and Medina turned and locked their gaze at Henry after hearing him. Anne's eyes widened as she asks, “How do you know his name?"
After hearing Anne, Clint had a grim look on his face. “I have met that monster earlier."
Medina and Anne froze after hearing then Medina ask, “What did it feel like meeting, Mukdhul?"
Henry did not hesitate to reply, “I felt terrified; I only froze as I felt his presence. I even imagined myself being crushed in one strike from his gigantic hands. His swelling burly body is enough to intimidate anyone willing to fight him. If you two meet him."
“I don't think you two can survive or even escape from him. Even I got lucky escaping from that monster.”
“So his that powerful that it made you drench in fear. Let us call for more troops here since it is hazardous for us." Medina spoke. “Also, our only goal here is to investigate, and we are lucky. Since we found out about Mukdhul. So our job here is finished." Added Medina.
“I think that is correct princess, I agree with Medina on letting your father and the church handle this."
Anne leaned her back and replied, “ I don't wanna go back! Don't you see the opportunity in this situation? You two know that we can use this opportunity to earn glory and recognition. Even spreading the name of our party. So why don't we stay here and defeat Mukdhul by ourselves!"
I was listening to the conversation of the three. To think that the princess was this hungry power is not surprising. However, this is an excellent opportunity to wipe them all out. Maybe siding with the princess would be better for me.
“Henry, I think the princess suggestion is not wrong."
“Otis, do you know what you are saying. I think you are only confident because you managed to keep calm. Cause you know that demon will not kill you. Also, how did you even managed to know his name.”
“Unlike you, Henry, I listened to the stories of your trainer. While you only sleep in his stories."
“Wait, did master taught me about that? I don't remember a thing about it."
“It's because you were sleeping while master taught it. He only keeps going because he saw me listening. No wonder he left us. But enough of that, Henry."
I turn my gaze to the princess and asks, “Now, princess, since you have a goal. What is your plan to commence this attack towards Mukdhul? You do have a plan, correct, princess?"
“I still don't have one, Otis. But I will come up with something. For now, let's stay here while I devise a plan to defeat Mukdhul and boost our party's name.”
