Alice had her s**t stirring grin on while mind linking me. Nope I don’t like this not one bit! That face is Trouble! And she wants to take my mate out before I do! I was too far away to hear what they were talking about. But when Sammy looked at me I heard her giggle. Oh, this woman was everything I didn’t know I needed. I couldn’t stay away from her any longer, so I turned to the little man beside me and said, “hey bud why don’t we go check on our pretty ladies over there!?” He answered wordlessly with an excited nod of his head before he took off running yelling “MOMMA” I laughed and quickened my pace to keep him in eyesight! Max and I had an overwhelming need to protect him as if he was our own pup. While making our way to the ladies I mind linked my crazy beta. “ ALICE!! What are you up to” “can’t tell ya boss! Girl code, its very clear on these matters!” she then cuts the mind link while turning and whispering something to my mate!!! Maxwell growls out threatening to teach Xena her place. “WHAT . DO. YOU. MEAN. YOU. CANT. TELL. ME.” I growl possessively thru our link “Alpha I will protect her with my life, and I won’t endanger her in any way . I just want to get to know my Luna. I think it could benefit us both. We’ll all of us me and her need girl time and I can help introduce her to the whole werewolf thing. Plus, J I really like her, and I want us to be friends!” we could tell she was sincere, so Max stopped his growling. “So, what are your plans with my mate?” I question my Beta. “Oh, just some drinks food some dancing and depending on how she handles her liquor matching tattoos and a male review” Max growls at her through the link which makes her Laughter ring around my mind! “Alice don’t even think about corrupting my mate!!” “HA!! Me corrupt her?! She’s got two pups! I’m sure she could corrupt me a little!” She totally ignores maxes Growling and continues “I can’t wait to get alllll the juicy details about her Ex and their breakup!” now she has my attention and I’m starting to warm up to this girls’ night idea of hers. Maybe we won’t make her run double patrols this week! I ‘Accidentally’ let my alpha tone leak through our mind link. “NO STRIPPERS AND NO MATCHING TATTOOS!” “yes ALPHA” she responds stressing the alpha part she HATES when I use my alpha tone with her. I almost feel bad but with Maxwell on edge I couldn’t help it. He didn’t want her out being looked at or worse pawed at by some dirty horny males. He doesn’t want her out with Alice. While neither of us doubted her ability to protect our mate, simply put we knew her too well. We had grew up with her we have partied with her we have caused havoc. It was legendary. Mischief was most definitely managed! Our accomplishments still whispered amongst the young pups of the royal pack. Alice and I have been each other’s accomplice in more than one crime. Suddenly I get a sense of panic and yell thru mind link “ALICE!!!” “ Why are you yelling?!” she whimpers back. Opps! “Sorry, I want your location, and updates throughout the night, if things get out of hand you notify me immediately!” “Deal!” Goddess, why did I just agree to that!? I sure hope my Luna can handle her alcohol! Ill give them some alone time before I slip in wherever they are to watch over her protectively. Max howled for me to crash girl’s night, but I dint want to ruin her night. I would be her silent shadow, her guard dog so to speak!
