Chapter 12

                                                                         *Jason’s POV*

       Maxwell was yipping and wagging his tail with sheer joy and excitement, but I could not understand what he was so happy about! Our mate was in shock or something her eyes are dilating, and she hasn’t said a word! When she took a sharp breath in, I grew worried, while my stupid wolf is howling laughing at me.  “Are You Ok Sammy” I ask her to which she only nods and smiles. Why isn’t she talking I wonder if she’s in shock? “Are you Hurt? Scared? Did I hurt you?”  It was then I heard our mate huff angrily, hmm why does she look upset? “JASON” growls My stupid wolf “WHAT you Big Dumb horny wolf!!” I snap at him “Can you stop panicking and pay attention you i***t! IF not, I’m taking control right now before YOU fu*k this up!” he growls out the last part. “what the F—” “Smell” he growls lowly. Before I could continue arguing with max, Sammy drew my attention.  “I’m fine Jason!! I really am I just…umm.” She stops talking and looks away sheepishly. She seems to be looking for the right words. Looking back up into my eyes just as her cheeks begin to burn bright red. She’s adorable and smells so… “Oh, And I thought she smelled good in the barn holy s**t Max that’s what you were going on about?!?”  “Yes, you ass.” “holy s**t how are we going to behave ourselves this whole trip!?!?” “Behave!? No J Mark her! Our Mate wants us!  At least she did before you insulted her!” He howls “NO Max! we will be doing no such thing!” We take a deep breath in, savoring the smell of her arousal. Now Max is really fighting me for control!  Max and I only stop fighting when Sammy finds her voice again “I was just distracted by your eyes…They Change colors!?”  AH s**t!  “She’s Smart and Observant too I like her more by the second!” chimes in max. I think it’s a bit too early for the I’m a werewolf talk so let’s see if I can’t redirect this conversation.  “If you’re Comfortable we can head over to the picnic area. Unless you have any complaints well be taking the scenic route.” I say as innocently as possible, this earns me a giggle and a smile. “Let’s Go Luna” she says while gently squeezing her legs together. Now that her body was pressed up against me, I was fully aware of how torturous this ride would be. After only a couple of minutes of our bodies rocking into each other while Luna walked along the path, Sammy leans into my Chest. After leaning back against me she tilts her head up and practically Purrs “You should take the reins. I don’t know where I’m going” “good Point kitten” I answer back with an equally s****l tone.  After what I can only classify as a Mean eye roll, she settles comfortably between my arms. She’s perfectly nestled between my arms which allows for me to hold the reins and her.  once I’m positive that she’s not going to fall off I push Luna to move faster. We only trot for a short time, just long enough for me to grab on to Sammy and hold her in my arms. Once we get to the mouth of the trail that leads to the picnic area, I slow down so that we can take our time. the peaceful scenery the romantic horseback ride not half bad for our first date. We spend the next portion of the trail alternating between Comfortable silence, 21 questions, and shameless flirting.  To my shock and relief Maxwell had stopped fighting me for control, He was content with our proximity. He had finally stopped howling out inappropriate suggestions. The first mile of her ass grinding into my embarrassingly and painfully hard manhood was intense.  Max had not made things easy, especially since WE could smell she was just as excited as we were.  Now that we were learning about our Luna, Max would only yell out questions or things he wanted to ask about.  We both are so eager to know everything about our mate. One thing that’s positive is she feels the pull the mate bond is most definitely there!  Now it’s our mission to learn as much as possible without coming off too strong!
