Chapter 17

                                                                            *Jason`s POV*

     “I like this kid!” Max says still chuckling. I decide to ignore him to focus on John, but I`m immediately distracted by the choking sounds coming from Sammy!! John and I both rushed to her to see if she needed help. But as soon as I turned around our sheer panic had turned to laughter. The choking sound had come from Sammy, but she was fine. When she heard John ask about our proximity my adorable little mate had shot water out her nose! Which had caused the coughing and choking sounds. I had to push Maxwell to the deepest corners of my mind when her eyes met mine. The sight before me was what my dreams would be made of from this moment onwards. Who knew choking could look so damn good. I had never been jealous of water before, but Goddess I wanted to make her gag like that!  Her eyes were watery, her chin still had some water dripping down it. While my eyes raked over her body, I notice her flannel was now wet. She caught me admiring her figure, which brought a twinkle to her. If I hadn’t grown up wilding out with Alice,  I might not know that look. But i had so i knew whatever had popped into her head was most certainly trouble. Once her watery eyes meet mine, She holds my gaze while she Slowly takes off her flannel revealing a tank top that clung to her frame. Maxwell howled out as our eyes traveled up and down her body. she was perfect her natural waist tiny compared to her hips. My eyes travel to her t**s, and her now very visible, and perfect, cleavage. I’m not sure what I wanted to do first, snuggle my face up on them and  take a nap or Motorboat them! When she bites her lip I notice a glimmer of mischief in her eye. Oh, this little minx was teasing me, she knows I have to behave around all these kids, and I have to make a good impression! I feel like this is punishment for laughing at her expense.  “TAKE HER TO THE OFFICE JASON! NOW!’ Growls Max. “No Maxwell we have to get her to fall in love with us first we can’t just mate and Mark her SHE IS HUMAN!!!! PLUS, we are supposed to be impressing the kids!``  “J I Love this girl already! Btw good job keeping max inline wouldn’t want to f**k this up cause of a little bit of teasing.” “Alice what are you up to?!?!” “Just reminding you to focus alpha” she cuts the link and nods her head to john, and that’s why she’s my Beta! She’s always on top of everything. It seems Max took her not so subtle hints and has stopped giving me a headache.  I Took a deep breath in and out before turning to address John. “So, John, do you still want me to tell you why I was so close to your mom?” His little blue grey eyes looked up at me suspiciously.  I get back on my knee to be on his level I don’t want to intimidate him or make him feel as if he doesn’t have a choice. I want him to understand I respect him and his mother. I don’t wait for him to answer before I continue “ John, how would you feel if I took your mom on a date?  But first I wanted to ask if you and your sister would like to join your mom and I on a private tour of the farm?” he seems to be considering my words, you can practically see the gears turning. His facial expressions even out giving me the impression he has come to a decision. But instead of answering me he turns and runs to Sammy. She scoops him up in her arms so that he can whisper in her ear. Thank you werewolf hearing “You’re welcome” Max says before we both focus our hearing.  I won’t have to wait to hear his little secret.   “Momma, do you like him? Or should I say no? I love the farm, but I love you way more!” Wow john is such a sweet little dude and he`s such a gentleman. I can’t help but admire the way she holds him and how close they are.   Its heartwarming- I’m cut off mid thought by my annoying wolf. “It’s making me want to put a few pups in her” “if you start acting like a stupid horny wolf well never get the chance  now stop making this difficult, please!” I respond quickly before focusing back on Sammy and John, after all I still haven’t gotten my answer! When I  heard what she whispered back to him I damn near howled out loud!  “Yes my love momma likes him! But if you’re not comfortable we won’t stay ok my sweet boy” “Mommy I’m fine! Its my job to protect you So if you like him Lets have fun!” John kisses his mom and she puts him down. Sammy’s little bodyguard made his way back towards me. soon he was in front of me where he stood with his back straightened and shoulders squared.  Once he made eye contact he held it while he addressed me. “Mr. Jason. Do you like my mom?”  Oh, this has got to be one of the cutest goddess damned things I’ve ever seen! I had to bite my tongue to stop myself from laughing. I look up at Samantha who looks equal parts proud, embarrassed, and eager to hear my answer.  I flash her a smile before focusing  back on John. “John yes, yes I do like your mom, A Lot! She’s a special lady, and SOOO pretty!” john smiled and nods furiously agreeing with me. “Id also like to get to know you and your sister! So, John what do you say” I added quickly.    He doesn’t answer immediately he just stares into my eyes like has reading my soul.  “he probably intimidates human guys! I like his spunk though!”  max says sounding like a proud father  “this has got to be the funniest stare down ever attempted” I chuckle back to Max.  after what feels like years john finally answers. “Yes! But Mr. Jason you better not hurt my Mommy or ill kick you’re —”  “ JOHN DON’T YOU DARE FINISH THAT SENTENCE”  Sammy hisses out at, the suddenly a lot less confident looking, John. After glaring at her son for a second Sammy turns around to me “I am SOOO sorry Jason”
