Having Lillith's warmth in my arms is the most divine experience I have ever experienced. She is the other half of my soul. Everyone who has hurt her, I will consume their souls.
I fall asleep with her in my arms. I know now how the gods feel when they have their mate by their side. I will never let her go.
"My Lord wake up!" Mary frantically is shaking me.
Instantly I feel violently ill. Aches, pain, nausea. I didn't care about any of that, because what is truly frightening is Lillith is nowhere to be seen.
"Where is she?" I jump up off the couch.
"She's in the bathroom! My Lord she is very ill."
