Vanessa was more than thrilled to get started with her new position as my assistant.
She marched into my room that morning as early as six to help me get started. I was not up yet when her big eyes looked down at me and her thick lashes fluttered as they considered me.
"You're not ready yet?" She gasped in disbelief. "Get up!" She tossed the bed covering aside and I wiggled out of bed.
I yawned, scratching my elbows as I stared blankly at her.
"What day is it today?"
"Monday, and your first class today. Do you want to be the Queen of Selenia?"
