My alarm went off right beside me. I groaned. Stretching with my hand out the duvet, I wandered it blindly and swatted it around the nightstand wincing at the pain it caused as I furiously tried to turn off the groggy noise. When my hand finally felt the button, I pushed it gratefully, automatically silencing the noise.
My hand fell limply back to the bed, I was completely drained, and lay weighing my options of doing thirty more minutes or getting out to get the day started.
Sleeping in was the most pleasing option and it was just four in the morning. Way too early.
