Chapter Seventeen: Lost in a Strange Forest.

In about five to six minutes, all the students had assembled in the room. They were all looking at the teleporter.

"I never thought it was real."

"Me too"

"I only watch it in movies"

"But it's all real now."

"You haven't gotten inside, you're saying that it's real."

"Isn't it real?"

"Guys, it's time to keep moving. Now, group yourselves into four per groups. Then you'll step into the teleporter and hold onto each other. Make sure you do not leave each other, or else that'll be bye bye to you." Roy said as he went to input the code into the device. He inputted the code and the teleporter started making some rambling noise.

After a few minutes, the teleporter stopped rambling, but soon another sound echoed in the room.

' Activated '

"Okay guys, you can now move it. In groups!"

A group of four boys and a girl were the first ones to enter the teleporter. The machine echoed another word out;

' Set '

And in an instant, they were gone.

"Where are they??" some students panicked.

"Don't be scared, they're already on their way to the army school, they will arrive there in five seconds."

After a while, the man announced for the next group to hop into the teleporter. They also went in and it was the same thing for them.

The third group went, followed by the fourth, fifth, sixth group, etc.

Vic, Melody and two other students were in group twenty one. They also entered the teleporter just as the others had did.

"What are you doing!" A man in suit shouted as he entered the room that the students were. He saw Roy Inputting a code into the teleporter. "Who gave you the code?"

"Sir, you told me to collect the teleporter files from your personal assistant. And she gave me the files where I had seen the code."

"No, I didn't give her any files. I told her to tell you that I'm coming to meet you. There's a problem with the teleporter, it can't take you to a given direction. I've ordered another teleporter from the authorities."

"Sir, there's a problem!" Roy replied.

"What." The man said and he looked around the room, and at that moment, a machine voice was heard.

' Set '

"Oh no, get them out of there!" but it was too late. Vic and the other students had already had already been teleported. Vic and melody were listening to the man's word but they don't really understand what he meant because the sound from outside the teleporter wasn't clear. They shouted out for help, but they had reach another place entirely.

There were in the midst of a forest, the trees were so, so tall. As soon as they landed in the forest, they hear the trees ruffling behind them.

"Is this where our army school's meant to be, Are we suppose to land in the midst of an unknown bush." One of the two students that were with Vic and melody said. It was a female.

"This is a forest not a bush!" The male answered.

"Do you know what happened before we landed here." The female asked.

"You mean why the men in the room were running towards us? I don't know." the male replied.

"Then why were you shouting?" the female student asked the other male.

He looked at Melody and Vic who were silent all the time. They both were trying to find a way out of where they are. Vic's teleporting skill is not working, and he's getting mad as the system kept on saying error. It occurs every time he tries to activate his teleporting skill.

"Do you know what happened a while ago?" The male student asked.

"Don't you hear? The teleporter is faulty, it teleports to different directions. We need to find a way out of here as soon as possible, instead of asking undefinite questions." Vic explained.

The ruffling of the trees got louder and louder, that the ground below them was shaking tremendously. As if an earthquake was about to occur.

"What is that?? Mummy, mummy!" The female student shouted.

"We are going to die!" The male student cried.

Vic looked towards the direction of the noice, he saw something like a horn among the branches.

'What could that be?' Vic thought.

"You! what are your names?" Vic asked the male student

"I am Butch, she's Liza." The male replied.

"Can you both run?!" Vic asked, and the two nodded, but they were still afraid of what will happen if they run on this shaking ground. Won't they fall or get stucked in the ground forever and ever.

Having no choice, as the noise kept on getting louder and louder. They all ran towards a direction, including Vic.

They got to a little valley that was void of trees, and waited there.

They are far from where the noise and shaking was, and they are trying to catch their breadth, so they rested in the valley.

' What Is that thing, if we don't Know what that things is, we might not be prepared for what may come next. I need to find it out ' Vic thought and ran back to where they had came from.

"Vic, where are you going, you silly boy!! come back here!" Melody shouted almost in tears, "Please, don't go alone."

"I'm sorry, I've got to do this." Vic said to himself.

He got to where they had first landed. The shaking and rustling of the tress had stop, He went further into the forest where he saw the horns stuck in the trees, but the horn was no more there.

He proceeded in running deep into the forest, but after running for a while, he stopped, as he spotted something.

Roarrrrrrrrr...

'It is a beast!!' Vic shouted in his mind as he ran towards another direction, the beast was now chasing him. The beast had two horns and a single eye, but it ran all in fours.

One might think that Vic wasn't afraid, but he is afraid, and it was showed in his actions. He had fell down for about twenty times now. Although, He didn't care whether he's alive or not. What he's scared off was the fact that he didn't have his revenge before he died. Right now, he's asking for one thing, the chance to survive.

As he kept on running, the one eyed beast kept on chasing.

Unknown to him that there's a another beast at front. This beast eyes was placed on it's tentacles.

He was cornered by the two beasts, what will he do, where will he go to?

Immediately, a large spear was thrown towards the one eyed beast and it went straight to it's chest region, killing it at the spot.

"What happened?!" Vic noticed that the spear had come from someone hiding behind one of the branches of the tree. 'who is that?'

The other beast seeing this was angry, it opened his mouth and lots of small tentacles started coming out.

"You're crazy, how do I kill this thing. I've never kill an animal before not to talk of a wild beast." Vic complained.

The tentacles started growing legs and they were going straight for Vic. But at that moment, someone and came in and he appeared beside Vic.

He was dressed in a black clothing and he had a mask covering his face and his hair was dark, he also wore a black gloves. Everything about him was covered with black attire. The mask covered his face and neck, leaving no space for you to see his skin.

"Can't you fight?" he asked.

"I can but there's no one to fight." Vic answered.

"The beast, idiot." the boy shouted.

"No I don't fight beasts!" Vic replied as he realized that the boy was talking about fighting with the beast.

"Just wait here then." The boy said, running at the small tent-eye beasts.

'I didn't know you are so fearful like this' Ang said jokingly. 'You're so scared that I heard your heart beating faster'

'f**k off! If you don't have anything important to say, then just keep shut.' Vic replied.

The boy had killed all the small beast, but another set of tent-eye beast were coming.

'I need to kill the mother beast.' The boy stop and he made some stepping, it was like he was dancing. He brought a sword. It was silver in colour and he twirled four times and jump into the air.

The next thing, he had appeared at the back of the beast. He raised his sword and slammed it hard on the beast but as it touch the beast, the difference was clear. The beast skin was so hard that nothing can go through it.

'I've never fought this type of beast before, this will be a trouble. I just need to find it's chest.' The boy thought but the tentacles of the beast had wrapped around its leg and arms. His sword had fallen down and there was no where to go. All the small tent-eye beast that were running towards Vic turned as they focused their attention on their prey, the boy.

"Help!! Help!" The boy shouted.

"If i had known, I wouldn't have chase after the beast. Now I'm in trouble." Vic said complaining to himself.

"Detect!!"

"How can the chest be under the leg?"

Vic was surprised.
