Chapter Eighteen: Lost in a strange forest2

"please help me" the boy shouted as his black clothing was getting ripped off by the tent-eye beast.
Vic sneaked under the tent-eye beast and lucky him, the beast didn't know. He picked up the sword that had fallen down the boy's hands. The silver-like sword.
'You helped me, I will help you' Vic thought and he struck the beast as hard as he could straight in the chest. The beast gave out a painful cry before falling down. As soon as Vic had killed the beast, he moved away from under the beast.
And as the beast fell down, a loud flump was heard. The grip the tentacles had on the boy had loosen and he fell on the ground, wounded. The beast had been defeated by Vic. He had never killed a beast before, and he was quite happy that he did.
Immediately the beast fell to the ground, all the other tent-eye beast became dust. And a gem appeared in Vic's hand.
"Consume what? I'll keep this for later. It might still have some usefulness."
' I think it's all getting clearer little by little. I think I might know how my powers work. But if this kind of beast gave me this much addition of power, wont it be great if I could kill several beast of its type. But I don't know if these are the only type of beast here.' Vic thought and he saw the boy that had came to helped him struggling to get freed from the heavy tentacles that had him cornered to the ground. ' I could ask him, he seemed familiar with beasts. I will also ask him about the army school."
"Hey, are you okay?" Vic asked the boy.
"Can you please help me out?" The boy asked Vic.
"Here!" He gave him a hand. "Thanks for helping me."
"And you too, so what's your name?" the boy asked as he was now free from the grip of the tentacles.
"I'm Vichette and you."
"I'm Spiro the heir to the Smith's family. The most strongest and bravest in the world." The boy boasted, raising up his right hand in the air. "Huh, sorry. I mean, I'm Spiro!"
"Spiro, do you know about any school located here?"
"No, there's none. But if I take you to my village, you might find some answers." He answered. "Wait, where did you come from? is it the west gate or the North gate? .... Ah, I know it, you're from the South gate."
"I don't know what you mean but can you get me to your village?"
"Sure, and I'll be glad to do so."
"But first, I need to get to my friends. They are somewhere in the forest."
"You got friends, are they females."
"Yeah, two are females but one is a male."
"I can't wait to meet them."

In the valley where Melody and the two other students had stopped by to rest, there were about ten marble trees all surrounding the valley. The two students told Melody that they were twins.
And within a short period of time, the trio were fond of each other.
After a while, when there was no sign of Vic, Melody suggested that they should go in search for Vic.
They tried to locate where they had come from, but unluckily, they couldn't remember. After so much struggle, they decided to head back to the valley.
"Do you remember where we came from?" Butch asked.
"I can't remember, we have gone too far from the valley." Melody said.
"Why don't we climb a tree to see where we are?" Liza suggested.
"That's a good idea! But, who's gonna climb up." Butch asked as he was angry at the suggestion Liza gave. "Don't tell me that because I'm a boy, I will be the one to climb."
The females looked at him with a pitiful look.
"You can do it Butch, you are the best climber I've ever seen." Liza teased him.
"I know you are scared, but I won't let you fall. I can use my magic to rescue you, if you are to fall off." Melody said giggling to herself.
"I'm not a climber!! can't someone just listen to me." butch shouted as he picked up a large stone and threw it into the lake that was closer to them.
The next thing, there was rumbling in the lake and several alligators, or so do we call them. They looked like alligators but their tongues are split into five parts. And whenever they open their mouths, the tongues stretches like that of a toad.
"What are these creatures?!" Butch wondered.
"They are beast! Beaaaast!!" Melody shouted, "Quickly, climb onto the tree. We can't escape them."
The beast that were silent all the time were all leaving the lake, heading towards the intruder who had caused an uproar in the lake.
What Butch didn't realize was that the stone he threw into the lake was also a beast. The stone beast went down into the lake and it start attaching itself onto the other beast that were inside the lake. It became divided into different types of stone beast, about thirty in total. And these stone beast were the one that had tried to attach themselves onto the alligators that are inside the lake.
The alligators tried to fight the stone beast but without any success, they all left the lake to the land.
Upon seeing who had caused the problem, they started Making way to the intruder, Butch. Still, the beast stone were attached to the alligators, and that enough was driving the alligators crazy, and making them act widely.
Butch had climbed onto a tree and was climbing as fast as he could, but Liza was frozen.
"Liza, quick come here!" Melody shouted. Melody had to cast a soothing spell on Liza, for her to get back to her senses.
"Mummy, mummy!!" She shouted as she climbed onto the tree Melody was climbing.
"Here grab my hands." Melody assisted her to climb the tree. "The alligators will soon get here."
"Oh geez they are fast." Butch who had gotten halfway of the tree said.
"Can't you shut up!" Liza shouted.
Melody shouted.
The alligators were now at the foot of the tree, surrounding the trees where Melody, Liza and Butch had climbed.
Melody and Liza had almost gotten halfway of the tree but the alligators below weren't relenting as they opened their mouths and their long tongues got attached to the tree, circulating around the tree. There were two alligators doing this, the others were just standing waiting for their prey to fall.
The tongue kept on getting longer and longer till it almost reached where Melody and Liza was.
"Go up, it is coming for us!" Melody shouted.
On the tree were Butch was, it was the same thing, but he was quick to action as he had started climbing up the tree. The tree was taller than the tree Melody and Liza were. He kept on climbing higher and higher till he got to the peak of the tree.
"Guys, I see something!" Butch shouted.
"What is it, we're about to die!" Liza shouted.
"I see mountains, houses and fences!!"
