Chapter 2

I stood there thinking of a way to escape maybe jump out of the window or hide behind a desk or... "Yo dude who's this?" One of the twins asked gesturing to me. I awkwardly stared at the three men in front of me. Caleb averted his gaze to me and a smirk made its way to his perfectly plump lips. "Oh yes she's the bimbo that bumped into me," he smirked. My head snapped up and I stared at the jerk in front of me before snapping.  "I am not a bimbo, Mr Jerk." Okay that sounded ridiculous. Mr Jerk. Caleb and his twin friends burst out laughing at my statement making me blush crimson. "Dude this chick is hilarious," the other twin laughed. I stared at them with a blank expression.  "Matthews, Valley and...Miss?" Mr Turnberry suddenly decided to show up and he didn't even know me.  "Call my Cinder," I said sweetly smiling at him but his face remained blank. "Oh well detention for you three tomorrow now leave," he groaned before taking a seat behind his desk.  "But sir I never did anything I was just dropping this off-" that damn i***t cut me off. "Oh but you were socialising with the boys when you were supposed to get back to class," he scolded. I was rendered speechless by this mans grumpiness. He must've been the most grumpy man in the whole universe. "But-" I retorted but was cut off once again. "Just accept it, Miss Cinder," he said marking some worksheets. I groaned and slammed the stupid papers-that I was instructed to give him-on his desk.  I stomped ouy of the room and sensed someone behind me. "What?!" I snapped and turned around to see Caleb with an amused look on his face.  "Hey relax my locker's in this direction so carry on wishing," he smirked. I rolled my eyes at his arrogance. Someone has an ego bigger than their head. I groaned and walked away. When I reached my locker the bell rang signalling the end of the school day, thankfully. I got my homework are grabbed my bag before speed walking to the school's parking lot searching for Carters car which I spotted a few seconds later. When I got to the car I saw Kale and Jackson socialising with Carter. "Hey!" I chimmed and threw my bag in the back of the car.  "Hey," all three deep voices greeted me. Carter got into the car and we followed. Kale was about to play his music but I stopped him. "Need I remind you that it is my turn to pick the playlist," I smirked plugging the aux cable into my phone and scrolling through all the choices. I finally came to a decision and choose, G.R.L Ugly Heart. I just can't get over this song. Jackson and I began singing to each other acting out every emotion and word laughing like idiots in between. Kale rolled his eyes like it was his job and Carter couldn't stop laughing our ridiculousness. I love my brothers and I don't want this to change. When we got home I threw my bag upstairs in my room and ran to Carter. "I'm coming," I stated. He was going to pick Peter up and since Mom and Dad weren't home there was no way I was going to stay home with Kale, Jackson wasn't a problem normally. "Yeah whatever," he laughed and we got into the car.  "So you're starting college soon," I hated this topic because I didn't want Carter to leave me. "Yeah I'm pretty excited but nervous too but will you be okay I mean I am your older brother and I do worry about you and well you never bring friends over and you've never had a boyfriend but I guess I'm okay with the latter," he said occasionally looking over at me.  I groaned, "Yeah I'll be fine and I'm perfectly happy being alone," I reassured him. "Cinder you're seventeen you should be rebellious, you should be like...Kale, you should be having fun and no not fun with your brothers fun with girls...You should be shopping and thinking guys are cute and go on date's with total douchbags wo your brothers can beat the crap out of him...Cinder please-" "Promise you I'll try to fit in? No Carter I can't fit in and I don't want to fit in with those...people so just leave my life alone, okay Carter," I said I swear I never knew my brother could be such an i***t telling me how I must live my life. We arrived at the field Peter trained at and I immediately got out of the car and walked to the bleachers. I sat down and the boys kicking the ball around and running after it.  "Well hello there," a irritatingly familiar voice greeted. I rolled my eyes and looked at the owner of the deep annoying voice. "Go away, Caleb," I said. He just laughed and took a seat next to me. "I never got your name?" Was this his way of asking what my name is because if it was it sucked. "Cinderella Williams and I prefer to be called Cinder not that you will be saying my name or even recalling it," I said making Caleb chuckle at my remark. "Well nice to meet you Cinder and nice name by the way," he smirked.  "What are you doing here anyway I don't recall hearing that you've got any siblings?" I asked ignoring his statement.  "Well Cinder if you must know I actually coach these kids or at least help out and stalker much?" He asked. I rolled my eyes probably for the thousandth time today. This guy thinks everyone's lives revolve around him. "Wow I never pictured you for the children guy and no I just hear a lot about you on my way to classes, lunch and well pretty much everywhere," I said glaring at the haughty asshole in front of me. "Well you shouldn't judge a book by its cover anyway why are you here?" He asked ingnoring my statement.  "My brother plays his name is Peter," I said staring at the boys who were running to their parents.  "Oh yeah he's a good boy you know very handsome too maybe I could 'prepare' him," he said nudging my shoulder. I looked at him about to retort when Peter came running. "Hey sis!" I smiled at my little brother and gave him a hug. He looked at Caleb and smiled. "Hey Caleb," he greeted doing some handshake with him. I inwardly groaned. Ugh guy stuff. "We should get going, bye Caleb," I said mustering a grin. He smiled back and said goodbye to Peter and then we left. He's such an arrogant asshole who doesn't care about anyone or anything. Gosh I think I need a warm bath and I need to listen to some soothing music to calm my nerves. Gosh life.
