'I can't believe he still isn't home... it's already been a week and he hasn't called me either... what if something happened to him?!' Joe wondered to himself, millions of questions racing through his mind as he went back and forth in the store.
"Stop pacing already... it's not going to make Kisa come back any sooner..." Lori said in a careless voice as he turned to the Beta. "Shouldn't you be the one to call him in the first place if you want to make amends?" He asked.
"....look I'm worried about Kisa but... also... he should understand that I wasn't wrong for saying what I did..." Joe who wasn't typically this hard headed had already decided that this was the hill he was willing to die on.
"And what if he's caught by an Alpha? And tortured or worse?" Lo
