Cruel World (1)
Just A Pathedic Omega (MxM) Volume 1 Takano Masamune Chapter 1: Cruel World (1) *** 'Why is it that... finding a rich Alpha and having their children in a loveless marriage is the best thing an Omega like me can hope for?' 'I'm sick to death of this meaningless existence... because they... they get everything and we... we're left with the scraps of what little decency we're given as a species... and why? Just because we were born Omegas? Just because we're the 'weaker s*x'? Just because...' "Hello there, I remember you from last time... You here for your pills again?" The kind cashier asked as she showed the man a polite smile. "I know it's difficult to take them but I'm sure you'll get used to them and the side effects. Everyone eventually does..." She said while searching for the medicine. "Yes, thank you." Kisa replied with a forced smile upon his face. '...constantly forced to take these stupid pills just so we can repress our heat cycles... just so we won't attract and be attacked by a stupid Alpha...' He thought to himself while leaving the store. 'But these pills are very expensive... on top of which they mess up your hormones badly, they cause you to vomit and feel lightheaded and in some worse cases, you might even experience increased pain during mating if you end up doing it... The pills also prevent pregnancy but in the end... it's never one hundred percent effective...' Kisa looked down at the bag of medicine he was holding. "Fuck..." He cursed under his breath and hid into an alley way. Quickly Kisa took out the small box of pills and swallowed one without the help of water. 'If only I wasn't born an Omega... if only... then I would be able to do so much more...' He crushed the box with pills in his right hand in furstration. "I hate Alphas..." He muttured under his breath, the sincere rage in his eyes was uncomparable to anything he ever hated in his life until that point... * * * Kisa stumbled back to his workplace. "I'm back." He said with that same forced smile again. His manager quickly running up to him with a concerned look on his face. "Are you alright?! I heard from Katlyn that you had to go and buy pills for your heat... Has is started yet? Did you meet any Alphas outside?!" The manager asked with the most worried expression that Kira had ever seen him with. "I'm alright Uncle... don't worry so much." Kisa said as he headed to the cashier space and sat down, putting his apron on. "Are you really sure Kisa? I really wouldn't be able to forgive myself if anything ever happened to you..." The manager continued. "I can't believe you started you heat already... you were so small, I feel like it was just yesterday when you were born..." "Uncle... enough already, go back to work." Kisa said as he waved his hand at the man. "I'll be at the register so go check the back for stock..." "Geez... you're just like your mother, always so comanding..." The uncle said as he headed to the back and closed the door. 'I'm making him worry every day...' Kisa thought to himself, he hated the fact he'd started his heat cycle. It happened just last month when he turned 21. It varied greatly from Omega to Omega as to when you started your cycle, some started as early as thirteen, which was the worst case scenario. And others started as late as their twenties, which wasn't a bad option, but then yet at the end most Omegas would have prefered if they never had a heat to begin with. 'My stomach already hurts and I just took the pill less than thirty minutes ago... for f**k's sake...' Kisa couldn't help but curse in his mind as he held onto his stomach, then a client entered the store. It was their family owned junk shop, they pretty much sold all kinds of parts for cars, security cameras and other electronics like out of stock laptops, phones... They were known as one of the better places to buy parts in the city. "Hello, what might I help you with today?" Kisa asked with a kind sounding voice even though he was holding back the urge to growl at the man. 'Great... an Alpha just had to walk in here... f*****g useless peace of garbage... I hope all of his kind disappear one day so that only Omegas and Betas exist...' He thought to himself these ever so cruel words but on the outside he had a welcoming smile. ".....?" The Alpha who's walked in the store had a pair of dark purple eyes, he glanced over at the cashier and it seemed like he could instantly tell from the other's physique that he was an Omega. "Do you have parts for STM cameras?" The Alpha finally asked as he walked closer to the register. "STM Cameras? Of course, in fact we secures lenses and memory cards the other day. They were quite difficult to find so they're a bit expensive..." Kisa explained as he turned his back to the man and rummaged through the many boxes behind him. They didn't have anything identifying what was inside them, Kisa had a great memory thus was capable of memorizing each and every box's contents with little issue. "Good... I want all of them..." The Alpha said as he took out his wallet, waiting for the man to give him an amount needed. "Of course sir... but if you want all of our STM parts... the total would come up to about 20,000$ and that's not including tax..." Kisa said as he turned back to the man. "Do you accept card?" The Alpha asked as he took out his limitless black card. Only the wealthiest of individuals could possess. "Yes, sir." Kisa said as he set the amount on the machine and slid it over to the man. "If it's contactless you can put it here and if it needs a code you can-" Before he was able to finish the Alpha placed his card and the transaction was approved in the matter of seconds. "I'll prepare your parts right away, sir." Kisa said as he smiled at the Alpha, even though each of the man's actions only seemed to annoy him more than before. 'How nice it must be to go around with such stupid money and buy things like this without thinking... I can't stand arrogant bastards like him, glaring at me with his stupid purple eyes as if I'm some sort of insect...' He continued cursing in his mind all the while outwardly putting on a believable front of kindness. "This is all we have at the moment. We will be bringing more in stock in a month's time so if you wish I can take in your details and call in to inform you when they arrive." Kisa said as he smiled once more, making eye contact with the man. The Alpha simply stared at him fro a while. 'What? Is there something on my face you purple eyed beast? I wish I could just punch him... he looks so condecending...' Kisa thought to himself but then asked. "Sir? Is there anything else I can help you with? Should I take in your information?" Once more with that polite voice of his that he seemed to be training for years. "You're an Omega, right?" The Alpha asked as he grabbed Kisa's hand and pulled it to his face, then took a deep breath. "Not only that you've started your heat cycle recently... and you're on the pills..." He continued while holding the man's hand. "Sir..." Kisa held back the urge to get angry. 'What... he thinks he can just grab me because I'm an Omega?' He pulled his hand back. "I'd appreciate it if you didn't touch me so freely. Yes you're correct about your observations." "Do you have a mate?" The Alpha asked while tilting his head to the side, then without waiting for the other's response he continued. "No, you don't..." 'What was the point of asking me if you're just going to answer your own question, stupid?' Kisa wondered to himself as he held back the urge to click his tongue. "I don't sir, and I do not wish for one." He said with a polite smile. "If you'll excuse me-" He tried to turn his back to the man but the other grabbed him again. "You're showing attitude, Omega..." The Alpha said while looking down at Kisa. He released his pheromones which had seductive capabilities, his plan was to make the other bend to his will but then something unexpected happened. "Sir... As I said, please let go of me..." Kisa said once more, already feeling like he was about to loose his temper. 'Every f*****g time, every f*****g time... these stupid Alphas think they can touch me so freely...' He cursed in his mind repeatedly. "Pheromones..." The Alpha muttured under his breath in surprise. "They don't work on me, now please leave." Kisa said as he pulled back his arm away from the man. He was already irritated to such an extent he felt like he could punch him. "You're special then... that's why your eyes look like that... I want an Omega like you. You'll get along with the others..." The Alpha said as he looked at the man with eyes of a predator. 'Others... yeah he probably has a small collection of pretty Omegas...' Kisa thought to himself. Since it was legal to have as many Omegas as one could obtain, there was no real limit to how many partners an Alpha could have. "I don't want to have anything to do with you." Is all Kisa said, and just that seemed to be enough to set the other man off. "I wasn't asking you, I said I wanted someone like you." The Alpha's voice changed to one much deeper than before, his attitude just as arrogant and condescending as before. "And I should just agree? Go f**k yourself, will you? Or you could make one of your many Omegas do it for you, since bastards like you aren't good for anything else besides fucking..." Kisa finally broke his facade, his smile and kindhearted attitute dissappeared in an instant. He couldn't stand the man in front of him, he just wanted to get rid of him and it was becoming increasingly obvious that the kinder he acted towards him, the more difficult it would be to get rid of him. "Why you little-" Before the Alpha could do anything else, he heard the bell on the door ring as someone entered, he turned to look at who it was... There was a familiar scent in the air. "You two are bickering in the middle of the day, it's so annyoing..." The man that entered also seemed to be an Alpha, but somehow he was much different than the other one. He seemed stronger, and it wasn't physically... there was something about the man's aura that stood out, it made him seem intimidating even though he didn't do or say anything much at that moment. "........" The Alpha that had raised his hand in an attempt to hit Kisa stopped in his tracks. He turned his back to the man and walked outside the store. He sensed danger coming from the new Alpha that had arrived and he didn't want to risk angering him. "What would you want?" Kisa asked as he crossed his arms, he couldn't bring himself to fake a smile anymore. And the other had already heard him curse so there was no point in pretending. "Is that all the thanks I get for saving you just now?" The man asked as he tilted his head to the side. He looked at the Omega at the register and sensed something from him, but wasn't sure what it was at that moment. "Haha... so I should bow down and kiss your ass because you walked in and scared another Alpha? How grateful do you want me to be exactly?" Kisa asked, he's already lost his patience and no matter who it was that stood before him, he wouldn't change his attitute for them. That's how frustrated the man had become with this existence of his. "You're awfully cocky for someone who couldn't protect themselves..." The man replied with a bit of annoyance in his voice, in the beginning he found it funny but now he began considering the other was truly being ungrateful. "Oh, so you do want me to bow down to you after all?" Kisa asked with an obvious tone of mockery in his voice. "To be praised for doing the bare minimum of being a decent being... must be nice..." "What if he'd gotten physical with you? What were you going to do then? You shouldn't have spoken to him like that-" The man argued but was then interrupted. "I see... it's my fault that he was going to assault me? Just because I'm an Omega... Just because I didn't want to become one of his many playthings that he can f**k and then discard? Awfully nice, isn't it..." Kisa said with such pure disgust in his voice that it was obvious it wasn't only aimed at the man in front of him but at all Alphas that had ever lived. "I never said that..." The man replied as he sighed. The argument had been turned against him with a simple sentence. 'What's up with this Omega... he's acting so...' He couldn't explain it himself. "But you were thinking it... even if you didn't say it... You think that because I'm weaker I should bend to everyone else's will but my own... You're just as bad as the guy that walked in here..." Kisa was sick of pretending, he let out all the venomous words he'd held back from saying to the other man just now. "...Or maybe even worse because you think I owe you gratitude for just existing and being born an Alpha... You think you did such a good deed by 'saving' me but at the end of the day I don't really need s**t heads to save me... I just need those s**t heads to have proper manners as to not think I owe them my body because they happen to be born the way they are. f*****g Hell... to all of you Alphas..." "Someone has a strong opinion on Alphas..." The man said as he sighed a bit, knowing it would be pointless to try and change the man's point of view. "And you have the same strong opinion on Omegas, so what's your point?" Kisa asked as he glared at the man. Even though he didn't mean to use the other as a stress reliever, he ended up dumping all his frustrations on him, which made Kisa feel better. "None, I need these parts..." The man said as he handed a list to him. "Fine. Wait here..." Kisa took one glance at the list and began going through the boxes, taking exactly what he needed from each one without even so much as double checking. In the matter of a few seconds he'd collected all the parts the other needed and calculated the total in his head. "That's going to be 2,075$ including tax. Cash or card?" He asked. "Card." The man took out his card and placed it on the machine, the transaction was finished in the matter of seconds. "If that's all, have a nice day." Kisa said as he waited for the other to collect his things and leave. "......" The man stood there for a while. "Aren't you going to give me a bag for these?" He asked as he poited to the many parts that were scattered about on top of the counter. "You didn't ask for a bag." Kisa complained as he searched under the counter for one. "I'm asking for one right now." The man replied with a bit of a lighthearted tone to his voice. "20 cents..." Kisa said as he put the bag on top of the parts and extended his hand for the p*****t. "You're even charging me for that?" The man asked but then promptly paid the 20 cents from his wallet. "Of course I am, this is a business not a charity. Do you want me to also put them in the bag for you?" Kisa asked with a sarcastic sounding voice. "No, I'm capable enough to do it myself... Will you have more graphic cards like this one?" The man asked as he began putting the things away, he held up the card to show it to the man. "It might take a month or two before more arrive, they're rather rare." Kisa explained as he checked his computer. "I'll leave you my number then: 0XX 32XX 9XX... Did you write that down?" The man asked as he watched the other typing away at the computer. "Yes, name?" Kisa asked as he glanced over at the man once more. 'Just rattling off the number as if I was just gonna commit it to memory, stupid prick...' Kisa cursed more in his mind, at that point his irritation was just immense, even he couldn't control it. "Griffith Varon..." The man said as he took the now filled bag in his hand and shot a smile at the man at the register. "Varon... Alright, I'll contact you when the graphic cards arrive." Kisa said as he continued looking at the computer monitor, not wanting to make eye contact with the man anymore. "See you then..." Griffith said as he took the bag and walked towards the door. "...prick..." Kisa muttured as the man was closing the door. Something in him just didn't allow him to let the man have the last word before leaving. Griffith smiled at hearing the man curse at him, somehow he didn't dislike it... "I'll come back next week to take a look around for more parts." He said as he peered through the store door once more...
