“I see, so it’s that difficult to give birth to a Pureblood Alpha…” Brian felt a bit worried after hearing all that. He himself didn’t experience any of these symptoms, in fact he was in good health and recovered relatively quickly which made him increasingly worried.
“I’m sorry for making things difficult for you… I’ll try to give you anything you need when you ask for it to make it better…” Harvey felt guilty for making the man go through all that just to please his parents. Yes, he loved his son more than anything but he was conceived in such a way that made Harvey feel ashamed. He didn’t want Spencer to grow up to be someone that uses others, and he didn’t want the child to know about the contract Harvey and Brian had made all those years ago.
