"Okay... I can do it... how hard can it be?" Rebbecca wondered to herself as she heard the sound of the upcoming call. She waited for the other person to pick up and braced herself for the difficult conversation she was about to have.
"Hello?" The voice that picked up the phone, however wasn't the one the woman was expecting.
"Lori? Could you get the phone to Joe? I really have to talk to him about something important..." Rebbecca said as she sighed rather heavily, her heart felt tight in her chest.
"He's... sulking at the moment, I don't think I can get him to pick up the phone." Lori explained as he leaned onto the store's counter. "He even let me man the junk shop by myself..."
"It's really important! It's about Kisa..." Rebbecca said as she raised
