Dinner Plans

 [Bellamy/Jamie]       Heading to the kitchen I worked on a plan. I’d need to see how the daytime worked out, but I was pretty sure we could leave once the vampires were tucked away. Marion told me a lot about the structure when he was telling me why I shouldn’t torch the place.     I pulled out the least wobbly chair from the little dining set in the kitchen and started going through the cupboards. Deer could be gamy, very little fat was in the meat, so it could dry out while cooking. There were some noodles, flour, sugar, cans of soup, salt and pepper, rice, and canned milk.     Honestly, I was surprised anything decent was in there. Vampires didn’t eat and rarely remembered what sorts of things were needed for cooking. Someone must have helped them.     Moving to the lower cupboard
